Drive was easy to install, system recognized it without issue and formatted fairly quickly. I was surprised how quiet it was for a BarraCuda drive, but it seems they have split the line into Barracuda, Barracuda pro and FireCuda. Very fast read speeds, was equal or faster than other drives I have in the 3 - 4TB size Drive has some kind of power down features, but it was surprisingly fast to respond and power back up when needed Good balance of speed and efficiency Very good storage drive
