Pros: The fan is indeed quiet and the heat-sink dissipates Heat Very well.
I am Running a AMD A10-7850K Radeon R7.
Keep in mind this processor is running 12 cores and Maintaining a Idle temp of 32C and Load temp of 45C.
The Heat-sink itself is very sturdy and shows no give.
Mounting system is Solid and works but....
Cons: I to had the same noise problem with the fan. I actually fixed this issue by removing the fan blades from the unit and applied lithium gear grease to the rotor pole inside of the unit which returned the fan back to a silent state. If you do get this product keep in mind that the blades of the fan CAN BE REMOVED. All you do is face the sticked towards you and push against the fan blades.
Mounting system could be better. If you intend on buying this product keep in mind the mounting system requires that you screw the heat sink in from the back. Now if your motherboard tray has a opening for heat-sink mounting then it shouldn't be a big problem but since some Form factor cases out there have no openings for heat-sinks it may require you to remove the motherboard.
Overall Review: For a 50 Dollar price tag, I am a bit disappointed with the fact that the fan made noise with in the first 3-4 weeks of use. The problem was easily fixed by doing a bit of work but the mounting system can be a pain. Other then that, if you are willing to go through the process of mounting this heat sink and eventually fixing the fan noise problem, This is a Great heat-sink. I does what it is intended to do, but it exceeds most other Heat-sinks.
