Fast speeds, no problem
Pros: -Very fast speeds, although I upgraded from an old machine. -Affordable price point.
Cons: -If you have a built in heatsink on your motherboard like mine, this is a little tight fit as it has a small built in heatsink.
Overall Review: I upgraded a new machine and decided to use this 500g drive as a boot drive. So happy I did. Windows loads on my desktop in about 12 seconds. I have been running this for about 6 months and no problems with the drive. I am now sold on M.2 drives and I am looking to pick up a second one to slot into the motherboard. What a life changer.
Great value for a basic build
Overall Review: Others have stated the pros and cos well here. I found this board to be a great overall value for my needs. My first computer upgrade in around 8 years and it was a blessing, very happy with my choice of this board and a Ryzen 5 3600. Worked out of the box with no issues. The option for M.2 makes for super fast boots that I never experienced before. If you are looking for high end gaming performance, you should probably be looking elsewhere, but if you want something that works well, has some future compatibility and handles streaming online with friends, I would recommend. I also do some "light" gaming and this board and the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 have been a great combo. As far as budget B550 boards go, this should be in your consideration for a simple but reliable PC build. This review for ASRock review rebate program.
