Disappointing Warranty Service
Pros: Worked well for over five months and then would not boot at all.
Cons: It took exactly four weeks to get the "repaired" motherboard back from Gigabyte after initiating the RMA process and it exhibited the exact same symptoms as it would not boot at all. I bought an Asus board with the same B85 chipset at a local retailer that same night, and it worked fine. I asked Gigabyte to refund the original cost of its board but was just issued another RMA to send the board in again.
Disappointing
Pros: None
Cons: The problem with this bracket is the holes are not spaced to allow mounting in a standard 3½" hard drive bay. I made it work but would not recommend it.
Defective
Pros: None
Cons: Immediate problems when installed on a Biostar MCP6P M2+ board. Over 500 errors accumulated on Memtest 86+ over a six hour period.
DOA
Pros: Fit in the 3½" drive bay with no problem
Cons: The noise when reading a floppy was incredibly loud and it would not boot the computer with two different diagnostic floppies that worked fine in my other machine. And when connected, the computer took more than twice as long to boot and sometimes would not boot at all.
Overall Review: RMA'd it.
I was unable to successfully download the Acronis software that is supposed to be included with the SSD. I finally gave up and used another program to clone the old drive to the SSD.
