Manufacturer Contact Info

The Canon imageCLASS LBP122dw is a wireless, monochrome laser printer for home and small-office users who need fast everyday document printing, with speeds up to 30 pages per minute and automatic two-sided printing.

Recommended For

Home-office users who mainly print text documents and want a compact printer with wireless, USB, and Ethernet connection options.
Students who regularly print multi-page essays, readings, and other black-and-white text documents, and do not need to scan or copy pages.
People printing routine black-and-white paperwork from multiple computers or mobile devices who value wireless printing and automatic two-sided output.
Small offices with modest, recurring black-and-white print needs that want a fast print-only device rather than an all-in-one.

Real-World Use Scenarios

At a home office, print invoices, forms, and work documents in black and white; the printer handles text-focused jobs quickly, but it cannot scan or copy originals.
When a student needs to print a long essay or course reading, the LBP122dw can produce multiple pages quickly and automatically print on both sides; it is less suitable for color assignments or copying textbook pages.
For routine small-office batches of text documents, such as reports and paperwork, its fast black-and-white output and high-yield toner mean fewer pauses for printing and toner replacement.
In a home with several users, connect the printer to Wi-Fi so compatible computers and mobile devices can send documents to one shared printer; it is a print-only device, not a shared scanning or copying station.
For documents with photos, shaded graphics, or fine chart details, expect a less suitable result: independent testing found that fine detail can look grainy or become obscured, and the printer cannot print in color.
