The NETGEAR WAX210PA-100NAS is an indoor, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 AX1800 access point for small offices, shops, conference rooms, and lobbies, with coverage listed up to 1,500 sq. ft. It supports up to 1.8 Gbps, four SSIDs, WPA3, and PoE or the included power adapter.

Recommended For

  • Small-office or home-office users who already have a router and Ethernet run and want to add a locally managed Wi‑Fi 6 access point for work calls, laptops, and phones.
  • Small shops, reception areas, or conference rooms that need a compact wall- or ceiling-mounted access point and separate Wi‑Fi networks for different groups, such as staff and guests.
  • People extending Wi‑Fi to a particular room or floor who can connect the access point to their existing network by Ethernet and want PoE or the included power adapter for placement flexibility.
  • Home-network users replacing an older access point who prefer configuring one AP through a local web interface instead of relying on cloud management.

Real-World Use Scenarios

  • In a small office with an existing router, add the WAX210 to extend Wi‑Fi into a workspace where the router’s signal is weak; staff can connect laptops and phones for everyday work and video calls.
  • In a small retail shop, mount the access point discreetly on a wall or ceiling to provide customer and staff devices with Wi‑Fi across the sales floor.
  • In a conference room or home office, connect the access point to the existing wired network so several people can join calls, browse, and stream without relying on a distant router’s Wi‑Fi.
  • In a home with a Wi‑Fi dead spot, place the WAX210 near the weak area and connect it by Ethernet; devices there can use a nearby access point instead of depending on a wireless extender link.
  • In a lobby or shared office, create separate Wi‑Fi network names for different groups, such as visitors and staff, so users can join the appropriate network.
  • When installing an access point where a power outlet is inconvenient, use a compatible PoE network connection to carry power and data over one Ethernet cable; the included power adapter is another option.
