Pros: -high quality of manufacturing. I feel confident that it will not catch fire. -helps protect the wall sockets from the stress of plug in and plug out of devices that should not be plugged in permanently (toaster, water boiling jug, vacuum cleaner etc.) Just leave Power Cord Extension In the wall socket permanently. -great in protecting sockets behind furniture that need to have the 90 degrees power spliters -save space on the power bars. One transformer plug can take 4 sockets without the Power Cord Extension. Only one with it. -often helps clean your house. I mean instead of a power bar on the floor that you need to lift every time you vacuum you can plug the power spliter to the wall and Power Cord Extension to the spliter. This way cables are in the air not on the floor. No getting under the desk to lift the power bar. -ever had this $40,000 machine at work that would still work well when the power cord was straight but it had to be bent to plug into the wall? Now the bend is on the Power Cord Extension. -In some workplaces they will not let you use a power bar. Period. For hygiene and safety. (Like the cheese factory) Wall spliter and Power Cord extension may be allowed.
Cons: - Make it all white. Please, please, please. - Make 2 prong to 3 prong, and 3 prong to 2 prong versions. I know they are safe but the safety inspector may object to plugging 2 prong device into a 3 prong socket. At work I mean. - The shipping. If you buy one it may work out to be more than the device. But if you buy like 18 of then the total shipping will be much less per item.(I would pay like $6 CAN to ship one but like $22 can to ship 13) Newegg should explain it in product description.
Other Thoughts: Yes I would recommend it to everybody. Just don't buy one. Buy 5 for every power bar in your house, one for every device that you plug and unplug often and two for every power spliter on your wall socket.

Pros: Great extension cord. Heavy duty, appears capable of carrying the required A/C current for the distance to the tool. A cord/cable that has too much current loss/voltage drop can damage some motors, or cause performance issues. I bought this primarily for a (larger) electric lawnmower (~12Amps), and a chainsaw. The cord is doing the job in cool weather, expect it also will when it's 100 degrees out there. The cord also appears to be quite tough, expecting it to take the usual snags, dragging around the yard, and pulling without problems.
Cons: FYI: Not a fault or problem, but this cord/cable is fairly heavyweight (as it should be to function properly). It's noticeably harder to drag and flip around with the lawnmower than my old one (but not complaining at all). For a static, in one place, tool usage, this is a perfect HD cord.
Other Thoughts: Very pleased, price was right on a high quality cord. Recommend it, may buy another one. Now if they would just make a 50' marine 30amp cordset for the boat (heavier amps/wire gauge, special marine connectors, indicators, locks).. The other marine cords available are hellaciously expensive.
