Cons: that gray piece on the end opens the stapler to add more staples. i've opened it accidentally 97 times and dumped the staples. i've opened it on purpose 3 times to add staples. that's a really bad ratio. who the hell designs this bunk and unleashes it upon the public? is there no quality testing?

Pros: Looks like the good old 3-holer I have used for decades. Looks can be deceiving.
Cons: This is a piece of Chinese Junk! AVOID!
The problem is with the punch/die combination that is supposed to cut the hole. On this unit, these are low-quality, imprecise and dull. The holes are not fully punched (hanging chad every time) and worse that that, the paper is distorted around the hole because the punch has to force its way through the paper.

Pros: When properly equipped with the correct staples; stapling feels smooth and proper.
Cons: The one significant ding I am going to give Swingline here is the quality of the implementation of their logo on the top of the stapler. It basically looks like the top and bottom (sides) were staple gunned in and the finish with the deformations of the metal makes it seem like mounting the logo badge was an afterthought. A sad blemish to an otherwise visually pleasing and functional work of art.
Other Thoughts: Resisting "Office Space" references is like not saying 'Mole' while watching "Goldmember". Yes, this thing can be used as a weapon fairly effectively. It is mostly metal after all, and explains why it's significantly more expensive than it's plastic competition. The solid feel means you wield this stapler, not just grab and use it. Respect Milton!

Pros: Easy to use, great for 10 or more sheets of paper.
Cons: If you have less than 5 sheets of paper the staple bottom comes through the front of the page. You can only use this stapler for large staple jobs. Uses special staples not standard ones. Very loud which can be annoying sometimes.
Other Thoughts: An OK product. great for stapling a lot of papers not usable for very small staple stacks.
