Good chair (on sale), but armrest seams split & wheel broken off thru normal use 7/2/2020 9:49:46 AM

Pros: -Very comfortable chair, especially for long gaming sessions.
-Affordable entry-level chair when on special

Overall Review: I certainly would consider purchasing another chair like this in the future. However, two situations I ran into may affect such a decision:

-I noticed the seams of the arm rests had come loose, creating a gap, after pushing the chair underneath my desk. I have a built-in keyboard tray to my desk, which must have pushed down on the armrests, causing the separation of seams. Lowering the chair AND armrests to their lowest position allows clearance for my keyboard tray. I would advise to check the clearance between your armrests and your desk when setting up.

-Through normal use (approx. 3-4 mo's), one of the wheels on my chair came off. Upon examination, the plastic piece holding the castor in the base broke. The other wheels are solidly in place. I am reaching out to the manufacturer now regarding any warranty coverage for a replacement frame/wheel base, or how much a replacement would cost. I do, at times, lean in the chair to pick up items from my printer, so I would try to avoid leaning in this chair which may have put too much stress on the plastic holding the castor in place.

Reasonably comfortable, but not as durable as I thought 5/24/2020 5:26:08 PM

Pros: -My first "gaming" chair, very comfortable when adjusted right. Can sit in this for hours if I wanted to and stay focused on work. Convinced me that these types of chairs can indeed be comfortable enough to justify the higher price compared to regular office chairs.

-Great for taller people, especially 6ft or higher.

-Didn't notice until a week ago, but you can easily adjust the size and height of the neck rest pillow. You do these by taking out some of the stuffing and moving the buckle attachment so that it wraps around the top of the chair instead of through the backrest holes.

Cons: UPDATE: My issues with the neck rest pillow no longer apply. You can easily remove it's stuffing if it's too big, and you can wrap the attachment buckle around the top of the chair to adjust it's default height. It's MUCH better now as far as comfort goes!

-Tilt adjustment knob broke after *ONE DAY* of use, no kidding. This is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 rating.

(I'm lucky I got the adjustment to a comfortable tension just before that happened, but in the future the spring will keep losing tension. Not sure what to expect after that)

-There doesn't seem to be a serious amount of seat cushioning. I had to lay a folded towel to make it feel more ergonomic, and that seemed to resolve the issue. My goal was to make the seat part feel more like a "bucket" seat instead of totally flat.

-Wheels don't turn very smoothly. I have to lean forward and loose my headrest position to pull myself forward, but an easy fix for this would be to just order some better wheels.

-Hard to tell when the armrests are both adjusted to the same height.

-One of the arm rests is very loose compared to the other (not that big a deal, though it indicates how cheap the manufacturing is).

-The leg rest doesn't seem very durable when extended out. For now that might not be an issue, but if I were heavier and used this daily for several months I think it would break at some point.

Overall Review: It's certainly *much* more comfortable than a typical chair, and I now believe the hype about gaming chairs being more ergonomic is real. I don't quite regret the purchase because it's a lot better than any normal chair I've had before.

It's reasonably comfortable for me, but I suspect it will take less than a year for something to break and for me to have to seek out something else.

This is the first time I've bought and used a gaming chair, so unfortunately I'm not sure what I would recommend instead.

If nothing else breaks (other than the tilt adjust knob that did after a day...) after one year of use, I think there's a 50/50 chance I'd still be willing to buy this exact model again. I just wish the build were more durable overall.

Uncomfortable and recline fails 3/25/2020 6:58:27 AM

Pros: Easy to assemble with decent instructions
350 weight limit
Adjustable armrests
Looks great

Cons: Narrow and hard seat cushion
Flimsy feeling footrest
Recline mech will fail

Overall Review: Chair is very hard and uncomfortable. I'm 5'8" and around 300lbs and the seat is too narrow. The arms width are okay but the sides of the seat cushion are very hard. The footrest feels like it would bend if I put the full weight of my legs on it. I'm going to have to buy a gel type cushion just to use this chair. The worst part about this chair is if are in a reclined positioned, not fully reclined,. the side recline mech will fail sending you flying backward and onto the floor! I had mine about halfway back when it did. Maybe if your under 200 lbs. it won't, I don't know. I should've known better than to buy a chair without sitting in an assembled version first.

Big & Tall gaming chair not for Big & Tall people. 3/17/2020 3:09:36 PM

Pros: I really like the design and the ease of assembly.

Cons: The seat is a bit hard, it took a little while to get used to. still can't spend more than 2 hours in the chair. sucks if you're a programmer.

Overall Review: 2 days of having the chair I was leaning back and nearly fell out of the chair because the right side notch system won't hold. I'm 280Lbs. chair is more like a stool now since I can't lean back at all without the chair slipping gears and driving me to my doom.. it was a waste of money. unless there is a way to fix the side gear / notch thing.. even then I shouldn't have to fix a chair after only a couple of days.

Its a great chair 1/19/2020 1:54:40 PM

Pros: - Very comfy
- Feels Like high quality leather
- Very sturdy ( I am 155 pounds and my dog whom is 80 pounds sits in my lap w/ me)
- Adjustable to any size or angle
- Good price for a named brand product
- I recommend to all my friends
- Easy to set up
- It came VERY quick, like 3-4 days before I was expecting it.
- As an experienced gamer and someone who sits in it for hours after work gaming. I have noticed feeling better after long sessions. I love the cushion for the small of the back, it makes ALL the difference.

Cons: - Big box, sort of a pain to recycle.
- I am trying to find negative things about it...
- The plastic housing that hides the nuts and bolts on each side is a little flimsy. But Honestly, I do not think I have touched them since it has been put together.

Overall Review: - If you spend more than two hours a day on your desktop, I would recommend this product or something in the same area. I went w/ a cheap no name gaming chair and it was not nearly as comfortable or functional as this. I am very glad I bought this, you will be too.
- If I had more of a disposable fund, Id replace my dining room chairs w/ these lol
- It lets me play like a boss when I am playing wow classic. I am able to sit in the same position w/o adjusting for a decent amount of time.
