Pros: This monitor is completely crisp, and looks absolutely great. I can't believe I considered purchasing a different brand for a higher price. This has built in speakers, and the quality is absolutely great. Places I couldn't even see in L4D2 and Modern Warfare 2 are now Crystal clear! There are no dead pixels, and the aspect ratio fits the screen perfectly (unexpected) This has a really bright backlight, making it very easy to see images and games. I've never been more happy with a monitor. This has a nice glossy finish on the plastic, and a kind of rough finish on the monitor so there is no glare coming off of it.

Cons: It doesn't like the taste of milk?

Overall Review: Make sure you hook this up with DVI, HDMI on a PC connection doesn't look even close to as good. Go to the settings on the monitor and turn the color scheme to "User" and it's best for PC usage. :)

Pros: This is a great monitor for the price (I got mine for $180 shipped). Large size, mountable, amazing 2ms response time, high 300cd/m2 brightness, has both DVI and HDMI connections so I can connect my 360 up to it as well as my PC. This is a great display for gaming, highly recommended if you're a PC gamer. I tested the speakers with my 360 via HDMI and I was actually shocked at how well they sounded. I'm not sure why so many others are complaining about them, they seem decently loud and very clear to me. The display itself is prefect, everything is nice and crisp with the native 1920x1080 resolution, which means it uses a native 16:9 aspect ratio so it's great for watching movies in their native format as well. It's physically good looking, too. I really like the glossy black touch.

Cons: There was two reasons why I didn't give this display 5/5 stars. One was the buttons. They are located underneath the display, so they can be hard to access depending on your setup, and it's hard to read which ones are which when you first get it. They are very small (at least, for my fingers), and are also pretty stiff so a bit of pressure is needed to use them. Second is the contrast ratio. This was only real downside to this display. It's extremely low for today's LCD standards. However I knew this when I bought it, so I was expecting it because I had a LCD with an 800:1 CR in the past and it looked fine so I didn't expect it to be a big deal. However with this monitor even mild blacks are going to show up kind of grayish, but it's definitely something you can put up with, the picture still looks amazing otherwise. One other slightly annoying thing was that the display was very bright by default. It only took a minute of playing around in the menus to make it look more colorful. :

Overall Review: As another reviewer who was in my situation said, Haans-G customer support is AWESOME. I wanted to mount my display to a wall mount, however I had to take off the stand piece that comes pre-screw'd in. However when I went to take it off, I noticed there was a "warranty void if removed" sticker over one of the screws. Which meant if I took off the stand piece so I could mount it, I had to void my warranty. So after doing a bit of research, I found out that that sticker wasn't actually supposed to be there and it doesn't void your warranty. When I called up Haans-G to make sure, the nice lady on the other end even offered to register my monitor right then and there for me so I didn't have to do it on their site. Awesome. So to recap: Other than the low contrast ratio, this monitor is superb, and I highly recommend it to any gamer who's in the market for a new display.

Pros: Screen size (yikes!). I had to rearrange my whole desk to accommodate this beast of a monitor. Will accept input from VGA, DVI, or HDMI. It includes a DVI-to-HDMI cable as well. Picture is excellent, as others have said, "crisp and bright." In fact I felt mine was too bright and reduced the brightness down to 1/3rd to make it easy on the eyes (some might prefer the brightness though). Color is excellent too. PRICE - Bought this at $180 w/ free shipping during a sale. Good luck finding a monitor as big for that price!

Cons: The stand and frame are not as strong and heavy enough to make this sit durably. I stop short of using the word flimsy because it is not, but the design does make it susceptible to wobbling if there is an impact to your desk. This is probably true of most monitors though. Can't say I would appreciate paying $30+ more just for heavier construction material so this is okay with me. Also there is an easy and stylish fix; Wall mount it. Buttons are located on the underside of the frame and so there is a learning curve to navigating the in-monitor menu.

Overall Review: Assuming there are sturdier monitors made with better frame/stand materials, I would give this four stars/eggs. However the price combined with DISPLAY quality warrant no less than five. Well done as usual by Newegg.

Pros: Price/size ratio, small width mostly clean bezel, all the junk M$ compatibility stickers on the bezel were easily removed, superb tech support (see other thoughts), menu buttons “hidden” under the bezel instead of on the front of it. It was an adjustment, even coming from a 20” widescreen, but well worth the price. I purchased two given the size and price. Both my wife and I are extremely happy with these monitors.

Cons: Though easily solved they both came with the Brightness turned all the way up so it was a little disconcerting when first turning the monitors on. The menu buttons not being on the front of the bezel means you have to learn button placement by feel. There are indicators molded into the bezel but they are difficult to read at distances of more than a few inches (I still feel the cleaner look to the bezel makes this more a Pro than a Con). As expected the speakers are horrible and offer little left/right distinction as shipped. I haven’t played with them much since I have real speakers to handle the audio.

Overall Review: Tech Support was a welcome surprise. When I first opened the boxes I noticed there was a warranty warning label over one of the screw holes used to attach/remove the pedestal strut from the back of the monitor housing. Since I was planning to wall mount these that posed a bit of an issue. Within 30 minutes (on a Friday evening) my call to their Tech Support line was complete. I was only in the hold queue for about 5 minutes before a very nice, lady who spoke clearly got on the line. She listened to my problem, took my information, logged case numbers for each monitor and informed me the stickers had been placed there in error and I was free to break through the sticker to remove the strut and still retain my warranty. She also was kind enough to fully register both monitors so I wouldn’t have to later. I will always reward excellent Customer Service such as this with future purchases and positive recommendations to family and friends.

Pros: Very sharp screen, sharper than my 28" Hannspree. Fast and works great as my second monitor. HDMI, DVI, VGA it has it all. Plenty of cables came with the monitor so that was nice.

Cons: Wobbly, if your desk shakes so does the screen. Guess I will need a better desk but then again my 28" Hannspree doesnt shake. Thats my only con is that the slightest movement of my desk or even my typing shakes the screen. Doubt I would use it as a primary monitor great second monitor for streaming Netflix movies.

Pros: The size was right and the price was amazing (I got the Black Friday deal). Any bigger than 25" would have been overkill, but this was the perfect size for me and it's a nice improvement over my 22" Samsung. The colors are vibrant and right away you feel as though you are looking at a quality display. If you plan on watching any movies or video you are going to have to make some minor tweaks, but once you do you'll be very pleased with the picture quality of this monitor. For the price you just can't go wrong...

Cons: The stand sucks...of course. I think most monitor stands are sub par, but this one is a real stinker. It's not height adjustable (not many are) and it's cheap plastic. It would be nice if there was a DVI cable included, but I had an extra one, so I used that... I tried HDMI and I think DVI is definitely the way to go. Obviously the speakers are terrible, but who among us is really using built in speakers anyway? This shouldn't be an issue at all. Overall the picture is great (after tweaking using the awkward controls), but the black levels suffer if you're watching a movie or any kind of video that has black or dark scenes (or letterboxing borders). The problem is mainly from the back lighting bleeding through the edges of the screen that adds brightness where there shouldn't be any. However, this is a common issue with LCD monitors, just maybe a little more prominent with this monitor. I actually managed to minimize this issue by getting a height adjustable stand (read below).

Overall Review: Luckily I avoided issues that some others have had such as noise and dead pixels. The stand was a big problem for me because I like to have control over the height of my monitor and the tilt adjustment just wasn't cutting it. I ordered a height adjustable stand made by 3M from NewEgg (Item #: N82E16848021346) and it made a world of difference. The monitor looks so much classier and sturdier with this stand attached (although you break the warranty by removing the included junk stand). Adjusting the height also minimized some issues I had with the black levels as well. Definitely consider this additional purchase when buying this monitor.

Cons: Poor quality. Now I have my old old monitor alongside with this new monitor, and I am surprised to find the images on the new one is not better than the old one. When I turn on the Bright XContrast, the screen will be flashing, so I just stopped using it. At first it wouldn't scale to full screen and I found from the comments that you need to set overdrive to 15% for ATI graphics card. I wonder why they don't even mention it on the user manual and that costs me quite some time to set up. The buttons are HORRIBLE! I've never seen a worse design. They are hidden under the frame and you won't know which one is which.

Overall Review: Stay away from the brand. I don 't know why it had such good reviews when I bought it. Now that many people bought it over the Black Friday sale, and the new comments are all 1 star.
