Pros: Has great color. Menus are eay to access. Picture is clear. I haven't found any dead pixels. So far I am really liking this monitor.

Overall Review: This is a great price for a 19" LCD monitor. As usual, NewEgg rocks with customer support and delivery of the product.

Pros: Wonderful clarity at 1280x1024! Even for the small text! Screen can be titled forward and back quite a ways. Excellent response, very quick on res changes. No dead pixels out of the box!

Cons: Height is not adjustable. The built in speakers are rather weak.

Pros: The price is obviously a large factor in this monitor's appeal. For significantly less than competing monitors I feel that this monitor is a solid contender with any other I have seen in the middle price range. It represents color accurately and can be effectively adjusted via the OSD menu. The bezel is quite slim, and is what (along with the price) drew me towards this monitor. With the side bezel measuring ~13.75 millimeters, using this monitor in a dual setup will result in exactly 1 inch of dead space between LCD surfaces. Monitor adjusts well, although quite bright from factor. I highly recommend this monitor - assuming it doesn't flake out on me in a year - you simply can't beat this value.

Cons: As others have stated, this item is shipped in its factory box. There is not even so much as a clear sticker sealing the box. It is simply folded-flap style with carrying handle. Anyone could have opened the box and taken it or similar. It also says in big bold letters exactly what is inside the box. My monitor has 1 dead pixel. Given that the native resolution is 1280x1024, the single dead pixel results in a quite small effective area and is difficult to notice. The pixel appears completely dead and does not shine green or similar. The stand is static - you can not mount the monitor in portrait mode. Furthermore the vertical viewing angle is somewhat lacking - if you plan to attempt portrait mode be aware that you will not be able to enjoy the screen without actually being in front of it. It's not ridiculously lacking, but you will not be impressed by any means. I cannot provide input on its speakers as I have not, nor do I plan to, listened to them.

Overall Review: I will report back as to whether I have luck with the rebate as well as my planned additional purchases of this monitor. Be aware that the shipping address for the current rebate is not the same as the one that ripped so many off last year. I realize this is not absolution, and I am still weary, and you should - as always - not factor in a mail in rebate as anything but a bonus if it works. This monitor is a steal of a deal at is asking price (sans rebate), it has been since its release. Unfortunately the brand has not been around long enough to judge whether the cost indeed sacrificed quality - perhaps resulting in a dead monitor in less than 2 years. Pure speculation, but common sense dictates you should be weary with such an inexpensive product. I purchased this monitor as a trial for its quality and plan to purchase an additional 2 by Christmas to complete my triple monitor goal. Again, this monitor is ideal for multiple monitor setups due to its slim bezel and low price

Pros: Great price, decent specs, dual inputs, speakers, and best of all, from Newegg!

Cons: Developed the same vertical stripe described by "N/A" in another post. but at left-center. Intermittent problem, but obscures about 20% and makes the screen unusable.

Overall Review: Adjustment limited to tilt, and they really should have added a headphone jack! Glad I ordered this from Newegg. Expecting a quick, easy RMA.

Pros: It worked for over a year and a half

Cons: After a year and a half the monitor has a black line down the middle and the icons are all fuzzy. Called HANNS G for the three year warranty to find out it does not cover the LCD replacement only the other parts. For ~$200 they will fix it!!! Just buying a new LCD but not HANNS G

Pros: Cheap monitor after rebate. Very good picture quality.

Cons: TN panel, so viewing angles are not great. My LCD developed what seems to be a "leak" in the upper left hand corner shortly after I received it. That portion of the screen looks like a black smear. I thought I was within the three year warranty, but after doing some research, I have found that I am well past the ONE year warranty on the LCD.

Overall Review: HannsG does not offer a true 3 year warranty on the entire monitor. The LCD itself is only a ONE year warranty. From their website: "The warranty hereof shall mean a period of 3 years parts and labor, 1 Year LCD, 30 Days for Accessories (cables, remotes, etc.) and 90 Day Warranty on repaired/replaced components from the original date of purchase."

Pros: Was great for about 3 months.

Cons: Large yellow band appeared on right side of screen after 3 months. Let it cool down and it goes away, but after 10 minutes use it comes back. Very ugly and annoying. Will end up throwing away when new LG arrives.

Overall Review: Pay attention to the negative reviews. There are quite a few people with the same problem and it usually develops after the RMA expires. Good luck getting HansG to replace it.

Pros: I recently purchased 7 of these for an office installation. They have worked perfectly, with not a single dead pixel. Comes with tiny speakers, and can be mounted onto a VESA-compatible monitor mount or arm. Very thin bezel too. Don't be turned off by the specified viewing angle; the viewing angle of this monitor is no worse than any other 160°(H) monitor.

Cons: Doesn't include a DVI cable, so factor in the additional cost into your decision if you're planning to use DVI.

Overall Review: Standard 4:3 aspect ratio monitors are much better than widescreen monitors for office work.
