Correct.  This product has only one 6 pin power connector. It is also one of the shorter versions of this card...Under 9 inches in length. Perfect for an old school motherboard with no 90 degree SATA ports.

Can a 450w PSU run this?

Yes it can, but U will not get the full effect outta the card, be considered a low-voltage/wattage at that point. Can't overclock it very well either w/o the power, it wouldn't make no difference in game play. That's why they say 500w supply, that's what U basically need when U push it too the max, that's overclocking the heck outta it and all, and probably still doesn't require that much anyways.

Question 3

For anyone who mines script currencies,
What hash rate do you get out of the box (one guy said up to 470)?  Out of the box is just plug it in and hash (not custom flashed bio or modding voltages).

For that one reviewer who claimed up to 470Kh/s was that out of the box stock or did you use a custom bios and mod your voltages?

Hey its me! No changes in card bios or voltages. If your card has elpidia memory chips it will hash at 470kh/s while the hynix chips will hash in the high 480's. I used gpu-z to determine memorychip manufacturer. Its a hit or miss with this particular card, still worth it!

I overclocked my cards to 1120core 1450mem and they run at 70c. I could not get them to work in windows7 they would never go past 399khash. This is because you need "dummy plugs" or an actual monitor attached to every card in the rig for windows to use 100% of the card. Linux does not have this problem.

I'm using LTC BAMT 1.3 as my OS. (1.4 and 1.5 do not work on these cards) I use the following conf settings:

So straight from its packaging i plugged it in my rig, used LTC BAMT 1.3 as my OS (instead of windows), then those settings above and presto 470 - 480khash!

in the specs. section it says 1 hdmi, is it an hdmi out cuase im not gonna use a computer monitor, im gunna put it right into the back of my 32inch hd tv?

Yes, the HDMI port should work fine connected to your HDMI TV.

Does anyone know where to get the updated driver for this using Win8? I have tried everything and this card keeps crashing my system. I cant play games or anything.

Its being used with a MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming motherboard Item#: N82E16813130692.

I am getting very frustrated with this card.

It sound's like you need a larger Power Supply like a 500W or higher. Or you have it over clocked or your CPU/RAM, over clocked too high. The last thing I can think of is that your MB/CPU/RAM cannot handle the amount of data and crashes. you my need to upgrade.

Can this GPU work with 2 or three monitors?

Yes. For the third you may need a specialty cable. As mine did not come with a cable for the display ports
