When I ordered this laptop, I received its cousin, the ProBook 6407b, instead.  The laptop includes an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 wireless module.

This comes with a regular spinning HDD. Will I be able to swap in a solid state drive (SSD) if I wish?

You can do it. Just make sure your partitions for windows and recovery are big enough. Clone your current drive and replace it. Make sure the SSD will fit your laptop ! Good luck !

Does it has a HDMI port?

it does not have an hdmi port but it does have a and external  displayport and external vga port which can be adapted to hdmi with an adapter

Does this come with  a battery and charging cord?

Yes the laptop comes with a battery having decent enough life and the charging cord. I'm happy with the laptop & it's definitely a worth for your bucks! I'm having no issues at all with this piece except that the battery does not last as long as new ones but it's enough for what you're paying!!

Does it have a webcam??

The HP Support Page for this laptop shows a driver for the camera input device, so I believe the answer is a firm "yes."
