Pros: Inexpensive relatively to overall quality. Components are easily accessible without any screwdrivers. Adding memory was a snap. I threw in the SSD drive I already had for extra performance.
Cons: Not the fastest kid on the block. I showed up with the Elitebook at a startup in the Bay Area and their MacBook Pros were running circles around it. Microphone (both internal and external) have a horrible circuit making crackling noises. I managed to smooth it out using Pulseaudio in Linux, but the hardware should be flawless at this price. I suspect that Windows drivers are also doing some noise reduction to compensate.
Overall Review: In the heat of the moment, I didn't realize that this configuration had the low resolution screen. I was planning on getting the model with 1920x1080, but got the 1366x768. If I knew, I would bought it direct from HP with the specs I needed.
