Cons: *I had to replace the psu... (I put in a Rosewell 550 watt for 30 bucks...) *I had to put in a video card cooler... (Another Rosewell product that was 10 bucks...)

Overall Review: *Overall... I paid an extra 40 bucks... so the computer actually cost me about 700... But, lol, I pwn my friends XPS's and Alienware's... I took off all the junk HP had on there... my bootup time is less than a minute... and I love watching tv or just playin a game on this amazing machine... Crysis only hits the 3rd best setting, not the 4th :( *I'm thinking about buying a new case and putting this stuff in it... I hate the fact that HP gave me this terrible mini-tower that makes cooling this computer very hard...

Pros: UPDATE: after replacing the PSU with a better one with 3 fans, the problem with it shutting down disappeared and it now runs a ton cooler. Great Computer after alittle trouble shooting.

Overall Review: I also removed alot of the HP software to cut down on junk CPU useage. I actually got to use the "Shut Down" command for a change rather than it just killing itself because the PS overheated

Pros: This Computer is NICE, its fast and has lots of power to spare. A great computer if you don't wanna actually build your own but You must have alittle knowledge in the Building dept or else you'll be stuck with a lemon because the heat problems cause it to routinely shut down.

Cons: It runs way way to hot, infact It runs so hot that it shuts itself down after only a few mins, infact I have issues getting the computer to stay on after about 20 mins of use. The Graphics card is nice but it where as most cards of its type take an extra PCI slot so it can vent air this one does nothing but blow it back into the case causing everything else to get super hot aswell. This PC has horrible airflow management and is a mess of cables, first thing I did to try and make it run cooler is to swap around the PCI cards to give the graphics card more room to breath and add in a PCI slot fan to help remove the heat from the case. I also rerouted the wires as best as I could to Improve Air Flow, and while this helped, it didn't cure the problem which I determined to be the Powersupply overheating and shutting itself down so it didn't burn up. A real Pain overall, exspecially for something marketed as a top end PC for people who don't want to build one.

Overall Review: I've got a new powersupply on order which should solve the problem aswell as improve airflow in the case. for those of you buying this PC and want to know what you'll need off the bat, you need a x1-4 Pin CPU, x1-PCI-E x1-24 Pin Main or x1-20+4 Pin, x2 Sata, x1-4 Pin Moldex, x1-4 Pin Floppy aswell as atleast a 500W supply altho I recommend a 600W just to give you alittle breathing room for more fans if you like. I personnally bought one with 3 fans just because the PS is drowned in Heat from the graphics card because the board is mounted upside-down

Cons: *No SLI (for another graphics card) *power supply=460 (not a lot of power if I want to put in more fans or a better graphics card) *The 1st boot-up took 20 minutes... But it says inside the box that that's how long it was suppose to take... It only takes 30 seconds to boot-up after that... (I turned off a lot of vista stuff though, and erased most of the HP software) *It didn't come w/ a back up dvd (It guides you through making one though... not really a big deal) Ok... All of the previous issues are EXTREMELY minor... This issue is kinda a problem... *IT RUNS REALLY HOT!!!!!! The problem is there is only one small fan in the back of the case and the cpu heatsink fan sucks too... The temp problems are w/ the CPU (processor), GPU (graphics card), and TV tuner... here are the temps b4 trying to cool it down... cpu- 59 c gpu- 69 c tv tuner- 59 c

Overall Review: I think the reason people are having problems w/ this computer is because of the cooling... but it's not hard to buy some new fans from newegg... that's what I'm gonna do... For only paying 650... I know after I cool this guy down I'll be playin some wicked Crysis (probably only on the 3rd highest setting cause the 4th setting requires a better graphics card than the 9800 gt...). But I can run every other game perfectly :) Also, the tv tuner works great! I can record shows onto my hard drive or just watch them... I wish HP could have fixed the cooling problem... but for 650 dollars... I'm not gonna complain

Pros: this coumputer and me have been through a lot, i mean new psu new gpu new cpu fan, new mobo, newer gpu, newer os, new memory. i've had it for about 5 years now. this coumputer is awesome.

Cons: ummm bad stock mobo.. only 1 pcie2.0 x16

Pros: quad core, 6gb ram, 9800gt, hauppage 1800 tuner, nice remote, 64bit os, big-ish hard drive, built in wifi+antenna, lots of front panel connections ( not enough usb >: | )

Cons: CASE is not htpc friendly, just a regular mini tower, and as always HP uses proprietary parts so if the mbo dies u gotta look to the manu for it. cooling is innefficient. for the price a blue ray drive would be nice, swapping in a phenom for a core2 quad was a $ saving move but the performance inst much higher than an over-clocked core 2 duo e6750. memory is a bit slow for gaming. vista does not have the motherboard's sata driver so u have to have the driver on a disk if you want to install vista, comes with home premium instead of ultimate, no discs included, pc has a "restore partition" instead. mouse + keyboard not htpc friendly, only two usb ports in front, feet on the bottom of case are glued on poorly and pop off if u try to scoot the case a little, loaded with junk software, stock cable routing in proper, under-powered psu, small CPU heat sink, OS is 64bit so make sure u use 64bit codecs/drivers, loud for an htpc

Overall Review: the poster below me said its a dual core, its a quad core computer. crysis runs "ok" on this, however my other computer (8800gtx core2quad q6700 4gb ddr800) gets 15more fps and averages around 45fps with settings on 1680x1050 while this gets around 30fps at a lower resolution. 6gb of ram is nice but its a bit slow for gaming, the tuner is actually really good tho and the remote is awesome if your gunna use it as a htpc. rating as a htpc (out of 10) 7 - rating as a gaming computer 7-

Pros: It's fast. Very fast. Games like Crysis run on it easily, and around 40fps. The dual-core processor really boosts the performance. The 9800GT is nice, and all you'll need, unless you have the money to SLI it or get the 9800GTX, etc. 6 USB is also nice. tl;dr? -Runs very fast. -The GPU will keep your games lookin' great. -2USB/Audio Ports in front.

Cons: It gets hot. Very hot. Before I knew this, my first one overheated and the GPU burned out. Had to go get a new one at Best Buy. I live in about a 65F atmosphere, and the GPU gets around 85C with no heating changes. The processor gets about 80C. If you don't know about computers and temperatures, that's way too hot. I am running mine with all new fans, (there is only one case fan =/) and the side popped open with a fan blowing into it to keep the temperature low (it's around 45C now.) tl;dr? -Gets very hot. Will require additional cooling measures. -Case has one case fan. -There is a media drive in front that I don't use, and I can't remove it without a LOT of work.

Overall Review: All in all, worth it. Heating problems aside, the computer runs very fast, and will play any game on the market at the moment. It's got enough expandability to keep you on top, as well. I would advise that if you have the expertise to, build your own, or get a new case with this one. The one case fan is the major downfall in my opinion, as your cooling options are limited by it.

Cons: Alot of users are having problems with this computer and other new high end HP systems. Most likely hardware problems, motherboard, hard drive? Computer slows down to a crawl at least once a week for hours on end.

Overall Review: Mine has already been back to HP for service after a month of ownership and its still not fixed. HP has no idea what the problem is.
