Pros: -Super fast Boots up in less than 5 seconds from power off. Loads multiple programs in seconds. Browses lightning fast when connected via Ethernet. -Excellent performance I love how it functions. The sound quality is loud, and not bad, but I prefer using my Bluetooth headphones. Everything just sort of works well, out of the box, with very little tweaking -Great specs 1050ti is the lowest tier of the best graphics cards, but it's more than enough for high detail gaming. Fortnite is mostly on epic settings, Destiny 2 runs at a medium/high range very well
Cons: -Fans are like an angry whisper and run constantly while gaming (put your headphones on and forget it) They are not *loud* but they are *present.* -Runs incredibly hot during high performance Center of keyboard becomes uncomfortably hot during gaming sessions. I put a desktop fan blowing on it to help dissipate heat. -Big, heavy, and feels a little fragile I had intended to use this as a school laptop, but it's incredibly large and requires its power supply to run at full spec. Without being plugged in, the screen will dim and the battery will die quickly. This is more like a portable desktop unit. The screen feels REALLY flimsy, to the point where I'd only be comfortable transporting it in a hard-sided case or briefcase. -Needs optical audio The only thing missing for me is optical audio output for 5.1 surround.
Overall Review: I'd highly recommend this as a very cost effective unit for gaming. There are better gaming laptops out there, but not for this price level.
