Pros: Reasonable price Heat Spreader is huge, keeps it running cool Durable material, this is not a cheap flimsy piece of hardware 7.6 Performance rating on Windows 7 (I think it is not a 7.9 because of the processor, read below)

Cons: Rather Larger - Not really a problem, unless you would like to employ bulky, oversized CPU coolers or have a small and or cramped case

Overall Review: Be aware that many processors (for example the intel 2600k) only support memory up 1333mhz, so this IS COMPATIBLE, BUT it will down clock memory speed to 1333, but this is the fault of the processor, not the memory - not really an issue though, you will not notice the difference between 1333 and 1600

Pros: Stays very cool. Installed without any issues in my wife's ECS A960M-M2 AM3+ AMD 760G MicroATX motherboard. Actually running it at 1680MHz at 1.6 volts (9-11-9-24-1T) with an AthlonIIx4 640 Propus CPU. Not on ECS approved list for the above mentioned motherboard, but still not a problem.

Cons: Not actually a con, but has very large heatsinks. Not sure if I'll ever need that much heatsink as I don't plan on pushing it that hard. This is in my wife's computer, so stability, not high clock speed is all that matters. The heatsinks stick up in front of the intake fan (just a tiny bit) on the Xigmatek Loki 92mm heatsink. Doesn't affect the airflow or temps of the CPU as they are about 1/2 an inch in front of the fan. The intake air rushing past actually helps to keep the already cool RAM even cooler. Pretty much no chance of ever overheating.

Overall Review: Haven't tried it yet, but with the huge heatsinks on this RAM, I think you could push this memory to beyond 1866MHz (will do 1866MHz as shown by a previous reviewer), but at 1680MHz it's just plain solid and fast enough for my wife. Running 210 FSB, so that's why it's at 1680 (must overclock something :) ). Gives a 7.3 WEI score in Windows 7 with the above mentioned processor. Great RAM, especially considering I paid less than twenty dollars for 8 gigs.

Pros: The ram is fast, 1600mghz, and runs well. Scores a 7.9 in the Windows Experience Index, and has been very stable for me.

Cons: The heat sync is massive.

Overall Review: If you own a Z68 mobo, be careful with what cooler you go with. I have the CM Hyper 212+ cooler and there is no way this ram could fit in the slot closest to the CPU cooler. It barely makes it in the other slot. I realize this is partially on the mobo manufacturer, but it is something you should be aware of when buying this memory.

Pros: Great RAM, no problems and having dealt with Kingston's Customer support in the past, I have no worries as they have always done right for me.

Overall Review: * Kingston has been good to me over the years, never once had a bad stick. * With memory getting ever more complicated I always recommend checking the compatible memory section of your motherboard manual when purchasing.

Pros: Stays cool and runs fast

Cons: Latency Timing on this memory per Kingston's website: 9-10-9-27 But default is 9-9-9-27 whats up with that? Nothing to do with kingston but..... On the ASUS website they have list of ram supported by your mobo. This ram wasn't on it but yet it still works

Pros: Powerful heatsinks, very fast ram, might be even faster if overclocked.

Cons: Unnecessarily powerful heatsinks, does not even get warm to the touch. But I am not overclocking the ram. Brushes against the fan on the CM Hyper 2121+ heatsink in bay 1, but still fits.

Pros: Very fast and the heatsinks on these things are massive!

Cons: Not so much a con as just a new build quirk, it wasn't seen as 1600 by my new Gigabyte MB right away. Simple solution, just go in and select Profile1 and all your troubles will be magically whisked away!

Overall Review: Not all boards recognize ram at their rated speed til you do a tweek...even brand new boards that SHOULD be seeing it correctly don't always see it as such. Not the ram maker's fault, it's the MB maker's fault.
