Pros: - Works mostly as intended - Shipped without broken parts - No bloatware - No CPU issues - Plenty of space to mount additional drives - Completely plug & play for most uses
Cons: - Does not ship with standard Wraith cooler for the CPU - Cable ties were too tight for cable management - Unlabeled power supply (is it actually 600W?) (I have also not fully removed it yet to see if there is labeling elsewhere) - Undescribed RAM turned out to be 2.666GHz CL19 (while technically not a "con", they still hid it as it is lower performing than others available) - Rear fan cable was routed behind the motherboard, requiring either cutting or removal of MB to remove the fan. - Poor air circulation due to only 2 fans being installed (unlike the 3 in the picture) - Weird motherboard model (custom made for iBuyPower, so you won't find exact BIOS updates through ASRock) - Issues with the 2020 AMD Adrenalin software update. (random crashes of the GPU and software either required a complete restart or to restart Adrenalin)
Overall Review: I would recommend this to others. This is not inherently a bad system. The specs are good and it works as intended for most purposes. That being said, I've run into a few quirks on how the PC was put together that I am not exactly satisfied with. My biggest issue though is about the Power Supply (PSU). After running quite a few different games, I've had no issues. But, when running Monster Hunter World at near-max settings with no overclock, the GPU will crash. The temperatures were under their limits and so far it seems it could only be due to an underpowered PSU. If I bring the Power Limit of the GPU down by 10%, it does not crash at all. If these were shipped with a proper PSU instead of a mystery one, I would definitely rate this higher. tl;dr -- It's pretty good, but replace the power supply.
