The idyiashop Concept
idyiashop was formed with one goal in mind. Provide great products to our customers at low prices with great customer service. Our purpose is to help you find what you need, we have been in this manufacturing and distribution business for over 10 years and we realize that there are many great products that are available to you, the general public. However, there was no viable way to get these products from the manufacturer to the consumer. That’s where idyiashop comes in. We search and talk to all the manufactures and bring their products to the US. Factory direct products at factory direct price, no markup, and no middleman. Our commitment to you does not end after the order; we will always be here for you. This is our philosophy, which we stand behind. Who idyiashop
We are everyday people just like you, for the most part. I guess you can say we are technology geeks that enjoy water-cooler talks about real life speed difference between SATA II and SATA III or philosophical debates on how much memory is too much memory for your computer. Gamer here also enjoy discussions of epic battle that was had online (or getting owned like noobs and blame it on mouse DPI settings) and gaming strategies (buy 3 or 5 potions to start the game?). However, the lead accountant here doesn’t really enjoy tech or gaming talk, he’s kind of an outlier here, and we have conveniently assigned him to the cubicle way back in the corner of the office. And, just like you, we get excited when we have something mailed to us. We track online while refreshing the page every 5 minutes to see where it is and when it will arrive. Enough tooting our own horn. Every company will have a fancy “About Us” page that promises everything. At idyiashop we try to keep it simple, by keeping the customer happy. Update 9/17
Newegg Customer service states package on the way .Due 9/20, way past 5-7 days to me. also got an email that states replacement on the way , but no tracking number.
Not sure at this point I believe any of it. I have no product in my hands

According to our records, your order was picked, packed and dropped off to our local USPS station on August 28th. However, when I tracked the package just now, I'm not seeing the usual arrival scan nor any movement scans. I regret to say that most likely means the package was lost in transit.
Here's what I'm going to do. First thing in the morning, I'll submit a request to have a replacement sent to you immediately. Once it's been sent, I'll have the updated shipping information posted here for you.
I sincerely apologize for the shipping mishap but ask that you allow us the chance to make things right for you.

They still never actually shipped the product. Complained to Newegg, and still waiting for a full refund. Emailed the seller numerous times (item still has not shipped) and get this reply today

There was a severe breakdown with our internal system and we weren't aware of your message until now. Many apologies.
At this point, the hard drive you purchased had already been shipped. However, due to the ridiculous speed in which we fulfilled this order, I still went ahead and processed a full refund as per your demand. All I ask is that you reject the package when it arrives so it can be returned back to us.

ridiculous speed?,, really? Stay away.
label created on Aug, shows item shipped on 9/16. To them that is ridiculous speed.
e-mailed their support and was told it must have been lost and will send me a new tracking number. They sent the same tracking number and now all of a sudden the tracking number showed it was dropped off on 7/5 in CA (im in AZ). I replied back that if the package was lost why did I get the same tracking number it would be a new shipment so I was lied to about that, they just never sent it out. Extremely under-staffed or whatever. I then started to look at all the other reviews with the same problems.
Seller shows 5-7 business days and it was past that.
I don't believe this seller is the caliber of 3rd party retailer that should be representing Newegg. I have NEVER looked at 3rd party seller reviews until now as I have NEVER had an issue. That will change when making my purchase decisions. I will gladly pay a little more from a seller with better reviews than price.
