Pros: works great tons of speace!
Cons: the first one had a defect newegg sent me a new one, & I had no problems.
Overall Review: I recommend this to every one that has a PS2!
Pros: Plenty of space.
Cons: Depending on the amount of game data, it can take a bit long (10-20 seconds) to save or load.
Pros: Huge space, great price (for a memory card, keep in mind you only get 8mb for half the price), reliable. The 'MAX Memory' logo thing is a 3d plastic sticker, it feels neat and acts as a grip when removing the memory card.
Cons: It's a bit slow when writing (and reading?). IIDX games take over five seconds to save, GT4 takes about that long too. Shouldn't make too much of a difference, turn autosave off if it bothers you.
Overall Review: It sticks out a bit further from the console than official memory cards, but height is uniform so it doesn't intrude on the controller port's space. Case is starting to separate, but that's more likely due to a year's worth of abuse rather than poor manufacturing/materials.
Pros: I bought this local for my new PS2 slimline silver (SCPH9000 series) and it works great. The extra space is nice and it's not too expensive.
Cons: Slow read and write. Some games take a long time to access the data. Burnout Takedown takes about 5-7 seconds but Burnout Revenge takes about 30 -- ridiculous. Katamari Damacy takes about 3-4 seconds but GT4 takes quite a bit longer. I don't mind too much but the performance is definitely slower than the official 8mb one.
Overall Review: A good product, you trade a bit of speed for a ton of space. I prefer it over the official one (and I have both) simply because space is never a concern, even considering my wife uses it for her saves as well.
