Question 1

I have a 7200rpm 1TB (About 700GB free of space at the moment) Western Digital Blue Hard Disk Drive. I want an SSD just for OS booting so I do not need much memory on the SSD. I saw this and for the value of this SSD, I could not pass this up. Plus its an Intel product.

So here's my question: Will this particular SSD dramatically boost my Boot speed time on my PC as everyone says? Or do I need to find a better Intel model SSD to get that 10-20 second, power-on-to-desktop speed?

It's a good drive - not the fastest, but it's good.
As far as 10-20 second p-o-t-d, I can't guarantee that for you, as I don't know your OS, how much stuff you have loaded into it (what gets loaded at startup). Most likely, yes, you'll get it (I am getting it at around 22 seconds - WinXP). But you will have a good improvement, as compared to 7200RPM.

Very important though, if you are using XP. You need to get the right drivers to enable AHCI in the bios, else you'll have these random "freezes" and instead of fast, SSD will feel very slow.

This or any other SSD should work in that machine.  I recommend that you get the retail version of whatever SSD you choose as it will probably have the 3.5" to 2.5" adapter included.
