How do you install these in an existing computer, and transfer the data to them? Can they be configured Raid 1?

They are installed directly onto the motherboard. The MB must have an M.2 socket. You also need to set the BIOS to activate the socket. Once set up it is configured as a conventional drive and you can copy data to it. I use it for my OS, as it is much faster than conventional HDs. You can include it in your RAID if you want.
