It's for laptops. Just make sure your laptop manufacture (such as lenovo) doesn't have a white-list of wireless adapters you can use, otherwise only the proprietary adapters from them will work.

Does this come with the antenna and connectors? I don't see anything mentioned in the specs.. and there is only one picture of it...

Hi, Cameron.  This does not come with any antennas or connectors.  What is shown in the image is all you will receive.  It is also a Half Mini card using a Mini PCI-e connector so you will have to buy two adapters (StarTech Half Size to Full Size Mini PCI Express Adapter Model HMPEXADP & StarTech PCI Express to Mini PCI Express Card Adapter Model PEX2MPEX).  The first converts from Half Mini to Mini and then from Mini PCI-e to PCI-e x 1.  You could chance skipping the first adapter but I would not suggest it as the 2nd adapter does not have mounting posts to stabilize the Half Mini card.  If your mobo should happen to have Mini PCI-e, then no worries, no adapters needed!  I installed one last week on a build and it worked sporadically with a wireless-N router from about 10 ft away I purchased around 7 years ago.  I will be purchasing a newer router in a week or so to test and see if it increases the signal.  When it was connected, it worked fine.

i would like to use this in an acer R7-571g with an third gen intel i5 ivy bridge processor , will this work in my computer?

As long as you have a compatible Mini PCI-E slot, you should have no problems installing this. My recommendation is take out the adapter your laptop already has and if it looks similar to this, you'll be fine.

Some advice though: This doesn't come with a driver disc or anything of the sort and I had to use another computer to download the drivers. You may want to do that beforehand and save the drivers on a flash drive.

The Intel 7260HMW AN card works in a desktop for me.  The latest drivers released in March from Intel make a big difference.  As do the right antennas!  I was looking at several of these and bought the N600 version for $25.  To do over?  I'd go for the AC version at $32 or whatever it was. But at those prices... not too hideous to upgrade later.

Will this be able to replace my Ralink WIFI adapter on my HP laptop?

I have not had any luck in finding compatible drivers for my Dell Laptop.  I understand from reading the Blogs that HP has a restriction in their BIOS that limits the brand and kind of cards that can be uses.  However, it appears that you can hack the bios and expand it to use this card.  I would suggest that you do some research on the blogs about your specific laptop and see if anyone has experience with this chip and your laptop.

I don't see why not. I bought the exact same one to replace an inconsistent Atheros on my kids' Samsung Q430, it works fine for the last couple of months without any hiccup. Assuming your Inspiron 1750 has a mini (card) connector. Good luck!

Sorry, I have no experience with this development kit, so I cannot be sure.  But if the kit has a half-size mini PCI port, it should work with it.
