Intel Compute Stick CS325 Computer with Intel Core m3 Processor and No OS

Pros: Works with ubuntu linux. Update the bios and make sure you have kernel 4.8, or the wifi will be unstable. I think usb is also unstable without those updates. Ubuntu 16.04 doesn't have kernel 4.8 by default. Ubuntu 16.10 runs well.

Cons: Can't customize the cover or case.

Pros: Small, quiet, and unobtrusive HDMI works for modern TVs but not all monitors Built in wifi and BT so less cables Intel drivers seem to be OK with Windows 10 micro SD slot

Cons: Large power brick with thick USB-C power cable means it is not very portable. Slow compared to full sized machines. eMMC storage not as fast as SSD. No upgrades possible. Would not load Windows 7. Needs HDMI extension cable for most as too big and heavy to fit by itself.

Overall Review: Power brick is USB-C with hub giving you two USB3.0 ports. Those along with a single USB 3 port on device itself gives some flexibility in cabling. If you want small behind TV it is better to get a NUC as it will mount to VESA holes.
