Question 2

Does Kaspersky Total Security include the Premium features of Kaspersky Safe Kids? Or would I have to spend an additional $15 for those features?

Thanks Newegg for taking the time to answer. In my experience, though, manufacturer's spec pages can be misleading, especially when there are levels of a product - free vs premium. They might say that they give you premium features, but after installing you learn that it's only for a trial period. 
In this case, I went ahead and bought the product to find out.  If anyone else is interested in my question:
- Kaspersky Total Security *does* include the premium features of Safe Kids. 
- Kaspersky Internet Security does not; it only has the free features of Safe Kids.
