Pros: Good memory, particularly if you have an Intel motherboard with a 975 chipset. Stable, simple and reliable. Great for people who never want to overclock, superior chips without the heat spreaders.

Cons: Expensive relative to more overclock-able brands and types. But that is why it is 1.8V compatable. It is harder to meet timing at 1.8 Volts.

Overall Review: People who have problems with Intel 965 and 975 motherboards (that don't support high RAM voltages) should get these memory sticks. Intel has specific compatibility listed in their support pages.

Pros: 800 Speed and stable. Seems as though the memory makers are struggling to get good solid chips out there. I want stability and do not overclock. I came really close to going with 667 chips on my new Intel D975XBX2 motherboard build with E6600.

Cons: These are 1.8V and are not high performance or for overclocking. It is not a con to me, but it would be for the majority.

Overall Review: I ended up purchasing 4 sticks thanks to Fed-Ex losing the first pair for a few days and then delivering them late after I reordered to complete my build. I will need 4GB eventually when I jump to Vista some day. WARNING: Memtest+ showed an error on pass# 8. Could never duplicate the error when retested the sticks in pairs, or with all 4 on the last test of 34 passes. It takes a lot of force to really seat the sticks. I think I had them seated just enough for the clips to hold them, as I discovered later that they will click when the chips are properly seated.

Pros: One of the few ddr2 800's certified for the Intel's 965. It's no a high performance version, however dropped it in and it worked without a hitch

Cons: The price dropped 40.00 a week after I purchased it.

Overall Review: Newegg had a combo purchase, an intel board and the corsair 4-4-4-4-12 latency. It wont work with the 965 chipset

Pros: I've used nothing but Kingston brand RAM ever since I had a P-II and I have never had a bad experience with Kingston RAM. In fact, whenever I have a hardware problem, I can be rest assured that it is not the RAM, because it never was (and I've had LOTS of hardware problems through the years). I have a Intel DG965WH and was worried about RAM compatibility until I saw this brand listed on the Intel compatibility list. Sure enough, worked like a charm! Plus, with Kingston's Lifetime warranty, how can you lose?

Cons: No heatsink, but I have 6 fans in my box and don't plan on overclocking. Besides, I can always buy some nice heatsinks later on from Newegg.

Overall Review: Newegg is the best online retailer for computer parts EVER!

Pros: It immediately faded into the background and let the DP965LT Intel board and E6600 Conroe shine at thier peak speed and power. All the 965 memory woes were non-existant from first power application.

Cons: A little on the expensive side - but well worth it.

Overall Review: I read a lot of tales of woe about the Intel DP965LT board and memory. I looked at Intels website memory requirements for the board and their recommendations. I knew i needed this Kingston memory. System worked flawlessly.

Pros: This RAM works at its full 800MHz on my Intel 965 board which has a strict 1.8v requirement. Decent price.

Cons: This is my third set, not because I wanted three sets, but because the first two sets were defective.

Pros: This memory worked without a flaw with the INTEL D975XBX2 mobo and the Conroe E6600 Core 2 Duo chip. Installed it, and the PC booted up just fine.

Cons: None for me - maybe not good for o'clocking? I paid eighty greenbacks more than it is now selling for. At the current price it is a steal...

Overall Review: I wanted stable performance for video editing out of the packet. Not into o'clocking.
