Overall Review: I just rewired the 4-pin plugs to run from the 12V to 5V rails for a 7V operation (move ground pin to 5V). These fans will start up and run reliably at 7V just fine. I'd estimate they are running around 500RPM and very very quiet. This is a real advantage for people looking for some air flow with minimal noise. On a side note, I see people in reviews of this fan and many others complaining that there is not any indication of air flow direction on the unit. The indication is determined by the way that the fan blades are "cupped" and can be determined on just about any fan ever made with a quick study of the fan blade design/orientation. The leading edge will always bite the air at a shallow angle and gradually increase the angle through the movement. This is standard fan design principle.

Overall Review: Used as front end intake fan.. blows just enough air over Hard drives to keep them around 38C. Good for an intake fan if you only have one other fan used as an exhaust. Dont want to have your intake fan with a higher CFM rating than exhaust. Creates Case Presssure.

Pros: Pros are that these are inexpensive and low noise (when working properly). I bought these because I needed four 120mm fans per each Corsair 700D case. I needed them to be low noise, I did NOT need high CFM, and I didn't want to spend a lot per fan.

Cons: I have bought about 30 or so of these fans for workstations I'm building and out of those I have had about 5 that wouldn't work properly out of the box. The latest batch of 8 have given me 2 bad fans so far. One wouldn't spin without a push-start, and another is making a clicking sound. Another fan is refusing to be throttled through the BIOS settings and is running at full RPM (although relatively quite, still).

Overall Review: All in all I guess you get what you pay for. I have yet to decide if I want to buy a batch of these for spares or just try a different fan....but I don't expect these fans to last long.

Pros: Low Price. Wide variety of connectors. Molex connector is a male/female so you can daisy-chain. I have no complaints about the airflow.

Cons: Power connector is cheap and flimsy. Mine makes a clicking sound. If it were not for the clicking sound this fan would be silent. If you get lucky and get one that doesn't click, it would be a good fan.

Overall Review: I use this for cabinet cooling of my A/V system, so it is only on when I have audio going that overpowers the clicking sound. I would not use it in my PC.

Pros: Works as advertised. Very quiet and pretty decent airflow.

Overall Review: To the others that say this fan doesn't have much air flow you need to read up on fans because a 950 rpm fan won't ever blow very hard because it's such a low rpm. It has a great amount of air flow for the sound of this fan.

Pros: I wanted some silent fans for my DAW computer and these are it! They run at around 900rpms and although you can hear them, the hard drives are louder than these fans at full speed. They move a good amount of air and if you have more than one of these on your computer I think you'll be fine.

Cons: If you put your ear right up next to it there is a small clicking sound when the fan is on. Its barely audible, but I'm not sure what it means either. Probably just bearing noise.

Pros: Perfect for a quieter build. Bought two for a simple microatx build. PC just hums slightly now. I have to get close to really hear it.

Cons: My case doesn't support 140mm fans.

Overall Review: I had to look at my old rig to figure out the air flow direction but it's quite simple really. The concave side pulls and the convex one pushes. FYI I added an air filter (register vent filters from HD) to the front of my case behind the cover with tape after snipping the prefab metal one out as it only blocked air flow. The rear fan built-in guard I cut out too & left wide open for maximum flow.

Pros: The price is right. They work as expected! I ordered 5 to fill out a 6-fan case (case came with 1 other 120mm fan). Plenty of air flow when many are used. Great way to make a reasonably quiet system run cool. Stacking 4-pin power connectors and long enough cables means you can arrange many of these in a system without running out of wire in most cases. These are probably the most economical way to get plenty of quiet cooling possible from the egg.

Cons: The 4-pin power connectors are about as cheesy as it gets, but they only need to be able to plug in once. I had to fiddle with a few of them (use a small tool to force the pin to stay in place from the back side while inserting). The contacts aren't lined up real well and aren't very precision, so since they are a stacking style, if they don't line up right, it will force the pin right out the pack of the plug when you try to plug it in.

Overall Review: Wire gauge is very thin, but probably more than adequate for the expectedly low power consumption of these low RPM fans. I'm running a quad core and a GTX460; 3 fans blowing in, 3 fans out. Air on the exhaust is cool. CPU/GPU temps are only elevated a few degrees above room temp most of the time and they are on stock heat-sinks.
