Pros: easy to set up, powered by ps/2 or usb port, buttons on top are easy to use, decent picture

Cons: buttons are simple and limit adjustments, output display not that bright.

Overall Review: I'm not sure if the photos on the laptop were too dark or if this device doesn't take the VGA to a projector well. I have seen better.

Pros: (Tips in "cons" section.) Even an idiot like me can get it to work. You can too. (Not that YOU'RE an idiot, heh heh.) Don't expect to see tiny icons and computer screen print on a TV screen-it's a limitation of the media. On the other hand, if you're watching an AVI file with windows media player that has subtitles, view it full screen and you'll get superb results! (Different format, that's why.)

Cons: The instructions that came with it said to plug the dc power in to the box off the keyboard! It took me a while to look at the connecters and realize that the only source of power I was getting off my computer was USB, and sure enough, there are enclosed adapters for this.

Overall Review: I have a huge library of LEGAL fansubs, and it really is a convenience to be able to watch avi files right on my TV. To heck with converting 'em all- this is pretty much as good as watching a DVD. Plus, I could make VCR recordings if I felt like it.

Pros: Plug & play, no brainer. Newegg service great as usual.

Cons: No "real" directions. Poor manual. No real troubleshoot help. Repeats Help tip "make sure cables installed" for all problems.Way TOO small on screen.

Overall Review: Forget about the rebates. You have to jump thru so many hoops its not worth it & i'm sure they'll find some way to disqualify them.

Pros: Does what it says it does. Inexpensive

Overall Review: I initally thought it didn't work - my output was all fuzzy. I tried KWorld's tech help, but it is a joke. After some thought, I adjusted the Screen Refresh rate down and it works like a charm. On your desktop -> Right Click Properities, Settings-> Advanced -> Monitor -> Screen Refresh Rate

Cons: The device was very hard to get to to run. It invovled about 20 hours of playing and tons of phone calls. Its very odd that it would be a problem but it might just be my device but not sure.

Overall Review: I would buy it yes, but with the understanding that when you have a problem, you will need to call the company for help getting it to work.

Cons: (1) the image noticably flickers .. a direct s-video connection has a noticable better quality (2) beware of kworld rebates .. i made a genunie purchase and i have sent in my rebates according to their instruction and they do not honor it

Pros: Using the PS/2 or USB for power is nice touch. S-video output looked better than I expected (see cons below). Easy to set up (see cons below).

Cons: This device does not like my Sony TV (model: KV-32S15). The video output is B&W. I changed the video standart between NTSC and NTSC-EIA with no luck. I tried another laptop as the source no luck. I move the whole set up to another TV and everything worked on my old RCA. I have already returned the original unit to Newegg - thinking something died in the unit - and they quickly turned around a second unit but no change. I have an email into Kworld support but no response - their support mechanism is rather poor, email only.

Overall Review: The device looks like it has potential but falls short. Come on this is a Sony TV, not some non-name brand.
