LG 25UM58-P 25" Class 21:9 UltraWide Full HD IPS Monitor 5ms 2560 x 1080 75 Hz Refresh Rate Flicker Safe Black Stabilizer and On Screen Control w/ Screen Split 2.0 HDMI

Pros: -adjustable base works nice -nice look -for the price good specs -in depth controls - I have a gtx 1070 and the 1080p looks with a couple of FPS games I play.

Cons: -I have a dead pixel on the top right of the screen -on the top of the case you can see sliver of light coming out in-between the case and the screen. Only noticeable in a dark room. -speaks are not that strong -certain games black stabilizer actually doesn't help. I play league of legends sometimes and parts of the maps are darken so the screen will keep flickering between dark/light/darken trying to adjust for the darken parts on your screen. It made me upset that the brightness is all the way up on my screen and at times I can barely see anything. I will say I have only noticed this with one game. My other games the games look beautiful for a 1080p. -this is a 25 in ultra wide so this may be a problem from some people. I would like it if it was a inch higher. but over all it doesn't bother me that much.

Overall Review: If you are on budget and can't afford a better screen I would recommend. If you can afford a better screen then I would highly recommend looking else where. Over all a decent screen, am going to keep the screen but the only thing I would complain about is the dead pixel. Its not in the center of my screen and luckily on the top corner, so when I am gaming I don't even notice it.

Pros: -Ability to get 75hz (see other comments) -2 HDMI ports -Colors are crisp and clear

Overall Review: The monitor is advertised as 75hz, which is somewhat false. It is shipped at 60hz be can be overclocked to a very stable 75hz without any problems. Other than that, this monitor is just fantastic, well worth every penny.

Pros: Got this monitor for music production and a little bit of office/ light gaming. Works great, screen controls are a nice touch. I don't use the split screen much but it's a awesome option. 2 HDMI ports are nice as well. Might get another due to the size, see below.

Cons: Is a bit smaller than you might think if you're not used to ultra wide monitors like I was. I knew not to expect a 16:9 25" monitor height, but at a first glance it looks quite small. Not a problem really, but keep in mind when ordering.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this. I own several LG products and I'm happy with all of them.

Cons: 1) Fewer connectivity ports (than the competition) 2) Absence of DisplayPort (needs an adapter if you don't have HDMI in your PC) 3) No USB port (sucks!) 4) Plain jane stand 5) No swivel

Overall Review: It's over a month that I'm using it and I wonder how did I miss the 'wide scree' road till date? Once wide-screen ~ there's no going back. This LG 25UM58-P monitor rockss! It's pleasure viewing your workflow thru it. Opens up a whole new user experience. Multitasking thru this monitor is a dream feel, never knew the benefits of split-screen (each of which is wide enough) and what that larger viewing space could do to your jobs management. I am totally thrilled with my LG 25UM58-P purchase. This is the best bang for your buck if you're looking for a monitor today, whatever it maybe - a regular 16:9 display or this wide screen 21:9. I'd personally recommend going for a 21:9 nowadays tho. And in that ratio - plus features vs. price - this LG 25UM58-P has no competition. Just go for it!

Pros: Its got good definition and will easily let you get a good refresh rate. Good price for the buy. I bought mine 2/23/17 and so far I've not had any major issues with it. Just that some times if the desk is bumped the cable apparently is a bit loose so the screen goes dark for about 2-3 seconds and comes back.

Cons: The height was smaller then I anticipated as it was my very first HD screen at 2k. I noticed my screen was very VERY dark one day and it took some time but finally the gamma1 setting corrected it. I have no idea how it got changed. Even doing a factory reset didnt correct as the default setting was still dark.

Overall Review: No issues in almost a year. I'd make this purchase again (possibly will if I decide to go dual monitors).

Pros: instructions very simple and easy to follow to set up.. Colors are amazing!!! Workspace, Awesome!!

Cons: At first glance I was disappointed at the height of this monitor but once I turned it on, I was blown away

Overall Review: Would I buy this product again?? If I had the ability to pay for them I would buy 2 more to replace what I once thought were top of the line. (granted they are old). I am Pleased to add my name to this product and highly recommend it.

Pros: - 75Hz - It has Freesync if you change the model number in its service menu. After doing this it will be enabled in Game Settings.

Cons: - All gloss finish so its a fingerprint magnet - Stand isn't that great - Have to mess around with it to enable Freesync

Overall Review: This is my first Ultrawide monitor and I didn't realize that despite having a larger diagonal measurement (25 inch) it was smaller than my previous monitor which was a 16:9 24 inch monitor. Still a good buy for this price point.
