Yes, small speakers built-in behind the screen, and work with HDMI cable alone. But they're not very powerful. My MacBook speakers are much louder and better.

Why are there reviews mentioning speakers when it states it has no speakers?

My LG 27UD58P-B definitely has speakers. I have an Intel NUC connected using a display port cable and haven't had any issues getting sound out of the speakers in the monitor. They aren't the greatest/loudest, but they are there.

I am unsure as to why the Features section clearly states that there are no speakers - I bought mine awhile ago and am not 100% certain that what currently ships still includes speakers.

Will the Freesync cause problems with my 1080ti? I'm aware Freesync will not work but will it be worse than if it didn't have Freesync at all?

nope it just wont do anything. I personally sold this my self and went to a 2k 144hz monitor but if 4k is your goal this is a decent monitor for its price

is it better to use HDMI or Display Port cable for gaming?

In general, Display Port is better (has a clip to stay in place, will transmit 60 Hz) - HDMI you have to have the latest standard to get above 30 fps.

using this for gaming, dont care about 4k just the little speakers and size shape etc. got a pc w a gtx1070. really only want to kn ow if this will be ready to use?

The size and shape of this monitor have been perfect for me, however will say I've never used the speakers on it (plug in external speakers), because the sound quality is relatively poor. I also use it more for movies where I'm sitting farther away from the monitor, or work where I use headphones, so sitting close to the monitor the sound quality is better, just no base.

My video card supports up to 1440.   So will this monitor work with my card?

What video card do you have? Any modern GPU will support 4k. BUT gaming at 4k will depend on your gpu. I would suggest not playing at 4k unless you have at least a 1080. A 1070 could do it but you'll have to lower settings before getting decent frames.

Will free sync work with nvidia cards?

That was changed in January of 2019.  nVidia now support FreeSync

Does this product have a head phone jack?

I own & love this monitor. No it's does not have a head phone jack. It has built in speakers that only have sound of you use HDMI. If you 4K game, then you'll use display port input which does not carry sound only 4k gaming at a smooth 60fps. AMD freesync is OMG awesome!! Love it!

This will not be used for gaming so do I care about Freesync?

Yo do not. However, I wouldn't discount this monitor because you don't use freesync. If you ever do, it will be avialable.

Question 10

How do you adjust the height of monitor?  Is the base adjustable?

The base itself is not adjustable. The height of the monitor is adjustable by taking out the pin in the back and moving the monitor upward to the desired height. The monitor can also tilt vertically if you'd like.
