Pros: QUIET! Fast, runs as great as all Lite-On drives I've ever owned (which has been around 10 over the years).
Cons: Wasn't free and didn't include a pot of gold.
Overall Review: I have no clue why so many reviewers are calling this thing loud. I have it mounted in a Silverstone LC03 case about six inches from my knees and I could barely hear it at any time throughout the burn process. If yours is loud, try mounting it with 8 screws instead of 4; less vibration will equal a quieter drive. At 16.1x w/ Nero 6, it took 5:54 to burn 4.5GB. That beats my last drive by 10 minutes, easy.
