Caveat! Use with extreme caution4/16/2013 7:18:16 AM
Pros: does its job. eliminated the cumberness of tangling wires.
Cons: the joint between plastic part and the metal breaks after 1 months of use. Only with extreme caution every time putting it on/off can make it last longer.
Overall Review: If you think 70 bucks for 1 month of use is not acceptable, DON'T buy this product. To a poor guy like me, it's certainly not worth it.
Pros: Feature Rich
Cordless
Decent Quality
More comfortable than H600 at the same price
Cons: None
Overall Review: These units were purchased under the following criteria:
Corporate Setting
Wireless
Headset w/ Mic
Name brand
USB connectivity
Low Cost
Comfort
Use Case: Unified Communications (Microsoft Lync)
These headphones are delivering on all points. Some may argue the price point, but it seems reasonable to me.
Some may not like the 'around the neck' fit. It works in my environment and probably will not mess up staff member's hair as an over the head design may.
I've been wearing the units for about 90 minutes straight and they are still reasonably comfortable even after that continued period.
My preference is the H800, but it is more costly and does go over the head.
I would recommend these headphones under the stated criteria.
Pros: This headset is light and fits around the back of your head. Very good sound for a gaming headset and no cord to get caught. Mutes by swiveling the microphone to the rear. Battery life 6 plus hours and can be charged while using.
Cons: After several years of use the headset cracked in the center. Still works, had to fix with a little super glue.
Overall Review: I have used it most everyday for over 3 years. Well worth it. I highly recommend this product. Logitech I have found makes very good products.
Pros: Good sound from speakers within limits, microphone is very adjustable and picks up voice with little effort.
Cons: Gets very uncomfortable very quickly, to the point of painful. Tends to distort after only a small amount of volume applied. Does not handle bass sounds well, and lack of audio controls except volume prevents tweaking. Software for player controls is only available from the Logitech website, and is extremely limited as to how many players it works with.
Overall Review: The headset requires not one, but two, USB ports -- one for the radio dongle and another for the power supply. The power supply cord does *NOT* act as a direct connection to your computer! So you end up having to connect extra weight to the headset for periods of time, in order to recharge, but don't remove the dongle, or the headset will stop receiving.
No problems with the plastic piece connecting the headband -- then again, I don't drop the headset or throw it around. Maybe Logitech actually reacted to that problem and fixed it?
Overall, if you don't have to wear a behind-the-head style, there are lots of over-the-head 'sets that are immensely better, for roughly the same price or lower.

Good sound and comfortable...BUT!9/23/2011 11:55:36 AM
Pros: Comfortable (eventually), lightweight and decent sound. The mic boom on/off switch is handy. I still get a good 5+ hours use per charge. A little more range than bluetooth.
Cons: VERY, VERY, VERY flimsy construction that won't last very long. The telescoping part that connects the earphones will crack and eventually snap at the stress points. If you ever drop it, it's toast. I never dropped mine, and it just kept cracking at teh stress points, and eventually cracked all the way through on the left side.
This specific part of the design should not have ever passed QA/QC.
The foam on the earphones themselves is also very thin, and for what these cost I would have expected thicker, much more comfortable foam. It does take a while before you get used to that.
Overall Review: If I would have known how flimsy this was before I bought it, I would have reinforced (zip-tied) the whole assembly that connects the earphones and then dipped that area in epoxy before I used them,or wrapped that area in carbon fiber. The diameter of the assembly needs to be at least 2X as thick, and made of a flexible material, and not brittle, thin plastic with miniature screws at the stress points.
Pros: I can't think of enough good things to say about this headset. The overall sound quality is excellent. A huge improvement from my Plantronics headset. The mic is crystal clear and my friends have no issues hearing me through Skype or Google Talk.
Let's not forget to add that this device is rechargeable which a few wireless headsets on here are not. That's a huge selling point as no one enjoys replacing batteries all the time.
Cons: The headset feels some what cheaply made. The plastics feel like they'd break easy after some time of wear and tear. The overall weight is something to consider as well since most of the weight is right on your ears however the clever headband design allows for the weight to be better distributed across both ears.
Overall Review: I would recommend this product to anyone looking to cut the cord for a decent price. As always shipping from Newegg was top notch. The package arrived a day before UPS even said it would.
Cons: The band that goes around your head broke the second time I used it. It is made out of very brittle thin plastic. It is designed for failure. The battery life is very short, 3-4 hours when it is brand new.
Overall Review: Don't waste your time or money on this junk. I can't imagine what a quality house like Logitech is thinking to put such an inferior product on the market.
