Is there a white and blue version of this mouse, or one similar to it?

I have an Arctic themed build, and I'd like to see if there are other colors. I have a white mouse pad (extended mousepad) and a black corsair k95 keyboard, so I'm not sure if i want the black and blue mouse, or maybe a white/blue one if its available

I don't think mad catz makes white/blue colored mouse in their product line. I have seen one of mad catz mice that has either white&red or white&silver, but didn't see any of them with white & blue. I had this mouse for a year, but it suddenly stopped working.
I liked this mouse a lot, but the life time was very short.

Question 2

I'd like to see a picture of its bottom, can hair and other crap get into a opening in its sensor area?

With my current mouse, and others, there's a opening where hairs get in from my cat, and its difficult to pull them out. My cat has very fine haired fur, and loves to sit on my lap while i'm on the computer, avoiding having hair get in places is impossible, but if its sealed, the hair can't get into the mouse itself, that is what I'd like.

Unlike other R.A.T. mice (like the R.A.T. 7 and 9), this edition does not have a steel bottom, but a plastic one.  It has a definitively lighter and less solid feel, but is still one of the best I have ever used.  The bottom is shaped in a similar fashion as other R.A.T. mice, with 5 skid surfaces placed at the outer edges and a sensor just under the center of the mouse.  The skid pads pick up dirt and grime on my Formica desk top and require periodic cleaning (I use a small dry wash cloth to clean).  The sensor has been generally dirt and grime free.

Regarding pets ... My family owns a long hair dog and three cats .... hair has not been an issue.  One of my cats likes to sleep on my keyboard WHILE I AM USING IT.  Good luck.

Are you able to install the software for the mouse on one computer, and then install it on another computer if you want to use it for both? Or can you only install it once?

Is all its features compatible with linux?

A direct answer would be no. I have used it on Debian and xUbuntu and on both systems, the mouse was useable with the basic features: the hardware DPI throttle switch worked to higher and lower the DPI; you can configure the extra side buttons on games and applications.

The DPI throttle switch only gives you 4 levels: 2000, 4000, 6000 and 8000 DPI. Of course there is no indication as to what DPI level you are using so I may be wrong. You just have to get a feel for it.

The R.A.T software and drivers that would make everything work best cannot be installed, even with wine, so using the software to customize anything, including the DPI to fit your preferences is out of the question.

Does it work fully with linux?

I would think the mouse functions themselves have no issue with Linux, however the Profile/Mouse s/w looks to be Windows only

Can this mouse take other rat mice grips (i.e. mmo 7 pinky grip wing shape)? Seeing as though it comes with no interchangeable grips.
