Pros: I have been using this product for several years and it has proven very effective. The price is right for the protection you get. I highly recommend the Total Protection choice.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this product to anyone concerned about effective and total security while browsing the internet.

Pros: Used several years now and so far protection has been good.

Cons: Seems with each newer version is it taking up more and more CPU and interrupting normal usages. Maybe I just need to learn how to control that better.

Overall Review: Would have given a five except for this one con.

Pros: This is a solid product. I have been using it for years and it keeps getting better, yet less intrusive. Includes nice features like an automated tool that scans for software updates for both Windows and third-party installed software.

Cons: TrueKey password manager is a double-edged sword. It works quite well most of the time, but when they have server issues, your logins can be unavailable. It hasn't happened often, but it is extremely frustrating when it does.

Overall Review: Great product and it is inexpensive when you consider that you can install it on up to 10 devices.

Pros: None for me. Was hoping it was a deal.

Cons: Won't use it cause I hate being put through the hassle of time consuming stuff that will entail.

Overall Review: By other ratings I assumed it was a good deal, I suppose if you want to make an account with password and give your credit card number and then go back and cancel reoccurring, for each PC, then apply for refunds it may be a good program for you. I just want good security not the games.

Hello and thank you for the feedback. The step to enter a credit card is optional, although it's not very clear that is the case. If you click on the X in the upper right corner of that window, you will skip the step and continue with the installation. You can also cancel at any time by going into your account at home.mcafee.com, click on the "My Account" drop-down, select Auto-Renewal Settings and then click on the slider to turn it to Off. You do not need to do this on every computer, just a single time on the account page and if you skip it during installation as described above, then you don't need to do this step. I hope you decide to give us another try as you can avoid the hassle you are describing. Please let me know if I can help you with anything further.

Pros: I have been using McAffee in the last 12 years and love all of its feature and reliable security protection. Has issue with mistyping email and contact customer service from McAfee to resolve the activation account. Great customer service though.

Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend friends to have the McAfee on their devices.
