Is this a Pro 2?

yes/no it is a surface. but it is a quirk. that is, the regular surface and surface RT's came with atoms or similar CPUs the I-series didn't advertise until the introduction of the surface pro and pro2.. it threw me off too, until I did some research and found it is a Microsoft surface with the intel i5 processor. go figure!!

Does this product include a Windows Key ???

It comes included with Windows 8.  OEM versions of Windows 8 (i.e. Windows that preinstalled by the manufacturer) authenticate via the BIOS on the motherboard, so there's no actual key required.

So to answer your question, it does not come with a "key" per se, but it does come preinstalled with Windows 8.

Is it possible to get one of these that hasn't been sealed up yet? This is perfect except for the hard drive size, so I'd like to get one and just swap the drive out.

I also was concerned about disk size but bought it because of the micro SD slot. I picked up a 128gb mSD and doubled my storage.You should remember this is a tablet PC and really isn't a desktop replacement. I got it for the road. I bought a used Typepad 2 keyboard (highly recommend), a nano travel wifi router (for security), a Mini display port to HDMI cable, Bluetooth speaker, and USB hub.
 
I absolutely love the flexibility of this product. MS has finally put a high quality, well thought out, versatile hardware item that won't be obsolete in 5years. I emphatically recommend immediate FREE update to Windows 8.1 (incredibly easy to install.

Does the docking station that it comes with have extra USB ports on it , audio ports, ethernet port, display port and can be charged while using the tablet in the docking station?

Yes.  SSD hard drive 128gb. 4 GB memory. 
Came looking like  new. Loved it. Wife loved it

No, it doesn't.  It does come with the pen even though it isn't mentioned anywhere in the product description.

Does this tablet throttle when doing heavy usage (like gaming)?  Tried the 4300y version and it would throttle seconds after loading a game.

For gaming I only have steam with a few games (plants vs zombies and tomb raider) both play good and the load times are good with the ssd. I will say that the battery is used up fast when playing them

Yes.  Depending on what you'll be doing it could be a bit slow.  4Gb memory that's not expandable.  I'd call it a medium duty tablet.
