Pros: This is the most action packed Halo Ever!! The campaign is just as it Should be; entertaining ALL the way through (I've already played it 3 times;), with HUGE Movie Screen moments, great graphics and sounds, 60 FPS buttery smoothness and 4-Player drop-in/drop-out co-op. The Multi-Player is just Awesome!! There's the new WarZone game type that's Extremely well balanced (Especially for a game this Size) and the entire multi-player system Feeds you REQ points at a Very Generous Rate; so there's No Need to Ever Buy Any. I use them as fast as possible (dropping in Tanks, overshields, souped up guns, Giant Mechs and More) and there's never any shortage, just from what I earn playing. It's a fun new game type with an EPIC Feel The Real Crown Jewel though, for me, has got to be the 4 v 4 Slayer and small team based games. I absolutely Love the Purity of Combat, that IS HALO. If the opposition has somehow gotten an advantage, it's on you. There are no advantages to combat other than being legitimately better than your opponent. The maps are well designed and FUN. You'll be engaged from bell to bell in this one... or you'll be dead..haha
Cons: No Forge, YET!!! When this Amazing game creation tool is released, it will bring back Classics game types like Griff Ball, Zombies and crazy custom maps and game types GALORE!!! Endless FUN!!!! I can't wait for zero gravity rockets and brute hammers in a big giant sphere with high speed and boosters ON!! Haha
Overall Review: 60 Fps makes the entire experience smooooooth as butter; with confident aiming and melees that are much easier to line up. Vertical movement is Ramped UP!! Vaulting over ledges, hanging in the air with your rocket pack and slamming into the ground while your enemies go flying...it's Very Satisfying I LOVE THE STORY OF HALO!!! This is the beginning of a new Trilogy in the series and I love where they're taking it. Great job 343, thank you
Pros: this game has the best campgain so far story line is great. the weapons are really great and feel nice. the vehicles are cool and have an all new look. the muliplayer is better than halo 4.
Cons: there is in game purchases. i doesnt effect game play just aggervates me. you dont play as masterchief much.
Pros: The story so far is fun, and the gameplay is essentially the same you've enjoyed from past Halo games. There are some new mechanics, but overall the "run around and shoot stuff" gameplay still plays just fine.
Cons: For me (and for a lot of players), Halo has been first and foremost a game to play with a group of friends. The campaign is fine, but getting together with a bunch of buddies and hooking up some Xboxes for a big System Link session has always been the meat and potatoes of Halo. No longer. There is no local multiplayer anymore. You can't play split-screen, and you can't just hook up a few Xboxes and play together with a dozen friends.
Overall Review: If you're a lone wolf or primarily interested in the campaign (and if you enjoyed the previous Halo titles), you'll certainly like this game. If you're more of a social player who likes to gather around the TV with a group of friends, I'd suggest playing one of the previous games or a different shooter. Or Rock Band. =)
Pros: Let's get one thing out of the way first. The online component for Halo 5 is absolutely stellar. 343 have gone back to the drawing board on this and have created a next-gen Halo experience that expertly blends the old with the new in the most glorious ways. You have your classic Halo 2 equal starts along with new fluid mechanics that are sure to play into some incredibly tense matches. Arena is highly competitive, but if you want huge 12v12 matches with AI, go to warzone. You will not regret playing that mode. Warzone is literally a huge high point for Halo 5. They've pretty much nailed it on the head with Warzone. Really great mode. Moving on to the story. If you didn't mind the advertising much for this game, you will come away extremely pleased with the campaign. The story is tight and the lore is rich. The level design in Halo 5 is Halo at its best and extends its verticality more than any other Halo or FPS ever released. Seriously, when you play Halo 5, you'll know exactly what I mean. The ending of the game might throw some people off, but it's pretty shocking, nonetheless. Go in with an open mind and you'll have some appreciation for it. In short, the mp is absolutely incredible. It may look like a CoD game on the surface, but its so much more richer and tighter and fluid than anything else on the market at this point. The story does its job and sets up the story for Halo 6 nicely. If you've read the books and and played all the games, including spartan ops, you'll appreciate the story here that much more. I'll keep updating this review as I continue playing. So far, it's a rock-solid 4.8/5.
Cons: Campaign could have been longer. A bit short for my taste. Split-screen isn't there, but I'm not going to dock points for that as lack of split screen was already communicated to us for a long time.
Overall Review: Just go in with an open mind and you'll like the game. Just remember that this is a more modern Halo that combines that best of Halo 2 and the best of modern gameplay mechanics and adds a bit of new as well.
Pros: Amazing graphics, solid gameplay, attention to detail. These are just a few of the things that Halo 5 brings to the table. I am only a few hours into the campaign but I can tell already that 343i has done an amazing job bringing this epic to life!
Cons: none.
Pros: It's huge. I mean it's super huge. The statue is nicely made. The best thing is its price, $50 with promo code. If you are a Halo fan, $50 for the collector's edition is a must have thing. Newegg is the best.
Cons: My only cons is its size. It is OMG big.
Pros: item is what is expected on the inside.
Cons: Box itself arrived damaged, had no protective shipping box around it.
Overall Review: Newegg decided to ship this to me as is with it not in a box to protect it. arrived dented, ripped, taped up in some spots, and had tracking stickers on it. I understand newegg probably didn't do this to it, but how does one think it is ok to ship something without some level of protection for what i am buying. Some people order items like this to collect and show off. If i was one of these people i would have returned this and gotten my money back. Luckily for them i am not but it is the principle of the matter. If you are getting this and expecting the box to be in nice shape, look elsewhere.
Pros: Well finally something in 60fps on the Xbox one haha. Plus its halo, I've always loved halo since I was a kid. The way they continued the story in this halo game is great! I think it was great especially the legendary ending makes me even more excited for what 343 has in stored for us halo fans in the future. really enjoy the campaign and especially online is a ton of fun, 343 did an amazing job with that.
Cons: I love this halo game, but no split screen. Who cares if its not gonna be 60fps, halo is all about split screen. One more thing that I didn't really like, is the fact that you play mostly as spartan Locke, and a few missions with master chief. Cmon, master chief is beast! I wanted to see him more.
