The Minuteman E1500RTXL2U is a 1500VA/1200W 120 VAC line interactive UPS, designed for critical, power-sensitive electronic environments. It includes eight surge-protected AC outlets, two surge-protected phone/modem RJ-11 jacks (one in and one out), and one surge-protected network RJ-45 connector. It delivers true sine wave electrical output for sensitive electronic equipment, and confidently safeguards all connected devices and data lines against all electrical problems, including spikes, surges, sags, brownouts, and blackouts. It boasts the load shedding function, and features the ability to add external battery packs for greatly increased runtimes. The independent battery pack charger reduces the battery recharge time. The easy-to-read LCD display clearly shows the power and load statuses of the UPS – no need to guess.
The Minuteman’s Sentry HD power monitoring and control software is included. Users are able to simultaneously communicate with the UPS via its built-in RS-232 port, USB port and optional SNMP card. Moreover, the dedicated EPO Port lets users perform an immediate remote shutdown of the UPS in cases of emergency, or when access to the UPS is restricted or inconvenient. This compact-sized unit gives you the ultimate installation flexibility. It can be rack-mounted, floor-mounted or wall-mounted. The 19-inch rack-mount hardware is included. Optional installation kits are available for 23-inch racks/cabinet and wall-mount installation. Plus, it’s RoHS2 compliant and Energy Start certified.

True sine wave outputThe E1500RTXL2U produces an electrical signal that does not vary from nominal voltage by more than 5%. Tightly regulating the output voltage increases the quality of power to connected equipment, adding to its life expectancy. It maintains an output AC signal, at all times and with linear loads, within 2% of a true sine wave. The true sine wave electrical output ensures the best power for sensitive electronic equipment.
Independent Battery BypassThe independent battery bypass allows the UPS to provide voltage regulation with surge and spike protection on the utility AC power, even when batteries are weak or dead.
Simultaneous RS-232, USB and Ethernet communicationsIts front panel features a large LCD display to show various key information, including input/output voltage & frequency, UPS and battery mode/status, load capacity, estimated runtime. It also features scroll, mute, and power controls. Plus, this display can be oriented vertically or horizontally depending on the installation orientation of the UPS.

Load shedding functionThe ability to extend the runtime of critical devices during an extended blackout is handled through the load shedding function. The E1500RTXL2U comes with two independently-circuited receptacle segments. Through the use of Minuteman SentryPlus software or communication with the UPS through an Ethernet connection, users can either turn on, off, or reset each segment independently of the other. By reducing the load amount on the UPS, the runtime of critical devices on the UPS battery can be extended.
A rich set of battery featuresThe E1500RTXL2U comes standard with internal batteries. To protect critical devices through extended blackouts, it utilizes external battery packs that can be daisy-chained in unlimited quantities to provide a virtual unlimited amount of runtime. With independent chargers in each battery pack, the maximum recharge time for depleted batteries is four to eight hours, no matter how many battery packs are installed on a UPS. Plus, it allows for easy battery replacement through the front panel of the UPS – without having to remove the UPS from service. Connected loads are protected from voltage anomalies and spikes and surges while the batteries are being replaced.
