Plugged Into Asus Router - Works Like a Champ

Pros: Relatively Fast.
No issues yet.
No AC adapter.
Good Price

Cons: None yet.

Overall Review: I understand, this is not NAS or network specialized.

I've wanted a network storage option for several years, but kept putting the idea on hold.
This little drive works as advertised and was really easy to set up.
Now I can share files throughout my house without my computer on.

WD customer service is terrible

Cons: WD said their warranty does not cover recovery so I lost 1.5 TB’s of my data because their drive failed

Well worth the money spent

Pros: Easy to set up, and the extras that come with it. Also, I received this great Portable hard drive within 3 days of ordering it. A great job was done by Newegg.ca on delivery

Cons: I can say nothing bad about this product

I feel good about my choice to buy this

Pros: Unobtrusive and easy to format for PS4 external storage
USB 3.0 is modern, fast, format
Good value per TB

Cons: Doesn't feel "premium" in my hand (for those who care about that, I don't)
Included USB cable is rather short (around a foot) but easy to buy a longer one for little cost

Pros: It has 2 Tb of storage. It work fine on the computer I installed it on.

Cons: Hard and complicated to use. I tried to transfer files using another computer to the drive but I was blocked by the security system. I could not disable the security system and transfer files. Called tech support but they were ignorant and could only repeat the features on the devise.

Overall Review: Don't buy this unit if you want a simply back up drive to store files.

Great external storage device

Pros: The drive is super fast, I can copy/paste documents at a rate above 300 Mb/s using USB 3.0 port on my computer. The drive is super small for a 2.5" inch and the pads below are useful when you put the drive on a slippery surface. The design is also great.

Cons: The only problem is that it uses a USB 3.0 Type Micro B on the external drive to your USB 3.0 Type A to your computer.

Overall Review: I would recommend to anyone wanting to have a Speed external drive for backups and or external storage.
