If I buy this board and put a Ryzen cpu on it do I need a video card?

They generally use the term APU to describe CPUs with video output. The currently available (as of 2017-8-30) Ryzen CPUs do not have video output. They are planned to be released at a later date. The AM4 socket APUs that are available fit into this motherboard, but they do not use the Zen core architecture.

I see that this motherboard has a lan port, so does that mean that I still need to buy a wired ethernet adapter or no?

You can buy a wireless adaptor or go with a wired cable. The LAN supports 10 100 and1000
and the manual says it has a gaming LAN that provides 3.5 X lower latency. (From the back of the box.) Wired is more secure.

Does DDR4 2666 ram work on this motherboard?

Generally speaking, yes. Whether it will work at full speed is a harder question to answer, so i would recommend looking up the ram compatibility list for the motherboard and going based off of that. I will say that I have two sets of G.Skill ram (one 2400 and one 3200) and after the latest bios update they'll both run at 3000, but no higher. That's still arguably an improvement over the previous bios though, during which I could only run either of them at 2667, regardless of timings or voltage.

That being said, AMD boards currently work best in sets of 16GB or less (mine are 32GB), and prefer certain types of chips (which mine don't have). So while I'm not getting the full speed out of the 3200 set, I'm impressed overall with what I'm able to do. They're not quite as easy to work with as Intel yet, but they're 90% of the way there, and VASTLY closer than they were on release day for Ryzen.

can I put an AMD FX-8350 in this motherboard?

Unfortunately not the FX-8350 CPU because the MSI B350M Gaming PRO motherboard is for the new Ryzen 1700, 1700X, or 1800X family of CPU's.

I am running four (4) Ryzen 1700's and four (4) Ryzen 1800X CPU's on eight of these MSI B350M Gaming Pro motherboard (no overclocking) 100% error free for a year.  They are number crunching using BOINC for the World Community Grid at 100% CPU utilization 24/7.  The 1800X is worth the additional price in my heavy duty application.  The operating system is Ubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS.

A separate GPU must be provided for the 1700 and 1800X because the original Ryzen's had no internal GPU.  However, the new Ryzen family like the Ryzen 2700X has on-chip internal GPU and ships with a cooler.  It is a little faster too.

I just bought this along with the Ryzen 5 1600, how do I download the latest BIO ?

To get the latest bios update, go to the manufacturer website and go to the support page you may have to enter the model number from the motherboard but there should be a link to software and driver updates page. Browse through those drivers and there will be a bios or firmware update link somewhere in the list if an update is available. Or you can just Google the motherboard model followed by the words "bios update", you might get lucky and Google take you straight to the software and drivers page.

How many fan headers does this have?

This has 3 fan headers. All are 4 pin, and all can control both PWM and voltage. The two bottom fan headers default to 7v DC, but can be easily adjusted around.

Will this board support either the AMD RYZEN 5 2400G 4-Core 3.5GHz Radeon RX Vega 11 Processor or the AMD RYZEN 3 2200G 4-Core 3.6GHz Radeon RX Vega 8 Processor (both with new CPU with APU included)?

Yes it will, but it will require a bios update. You will need a currently working cpu to do update the bios. Fortunately amd is willing to send you a loaner cpu so you can update your bios. Alternatively you can get a mobo that supports bios flashing with no cpu, or wait for the newer boards to come out.

Can you use Corsair vengeance Lpx DDR4 2400MHz?

You can find a supported list ram on the MSI website. (Can't link in answers)
If its "CMK16GX4M2A2400C16" then yes its supported.
Note that I could never get the board up to 2666MHz. Turning on A-XMP resulted in no boot where I had to reset via jumper.

Question 10

Does this board actually support up to 3200?  Newegg says it doesn't but I've seen elsewhere that it can

I purchased 16gb 3200 sticks and even with the latest firmware update, I cannot get the sticks to run at 3200. Even though they are listed as compatible on the qvl, I need to enable xmp to get them to run at 2933.
