Pros: Low Price - especially with the free HDMI cable and hopefully the rebate Fanless/Noiseless - great for HTPC Latest VDPAU feature set (C) for linux HDMI/D-SUB/DVI connections
Cons: None as long as you are not looking for a high powered graphics card.
Overall Review: I bought this to upgrade a homemade HTPC after finally springing for an HDTV. The HTPC has an Athalon 64 2800+ CPU and ATI integrated graphics so it is otherwise underpowered for HD playback and only has VGA and S-video outputs. The MSI card is silent and VDPAU works great with MythTV to enable HD video playback. VDPAU Feature Set C includes complete acceleration for MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Part 2 (MPEG-4 ASP), VC-1/WMV9 and H.264. Hopefully, more software will work with VDPAU (namely flash for steaming downloads) and audio over HDMI will improve in the future. The latest ALSA builds do recognize the HDMI audio but I haven't gotten it to work yet. The free HDMI cable to hook up to the HDTV is a great bonus while it is offered.
Pros: Card works as expected. Good price after rebate. Low profile. Passive heatsink Significantly faster than the 7600 series card, which fried, that this replaced. Good quality and performace with DVD and lower HD settings.
Cons: Not nearly as fast as a 9600 or 220 series cards, but I knew that before purchase.
Overall Review: Using this card with a 17" CRT monitor that runs at 1024x768 max. Haven't had any trouble with games at these resolutions.
Pros: The card has performed with no issues on a HTPC system for several months now. It works perfectly for my needs, but remember, at this price point it is an entry level card. Simply put no mus no fuss. I am using with with Windows 7 Professional 64bit OEM and I have had no issues with Linux so far.
Cons: None for me, but please do look at other comments. The heat sink may be too large in certain situations.

Overall Review: This is a great card, if you know what you are buying. This is most certainly NOT a gamers card. I bought this card for a Linux (opensuse 11.2) workstation -- I do not need 3D, just a fast 2D card, and appreciate the addition of hardware video acceleration.
Pros: Will play virtually any video format smoothly, with practically no impact on the CPU. Video is vibrant and seemingly effortless. I am using this card with J.River Media Center and BeyondTV and it is performing beautifully, playing back DVD resolution mpeg2 recordings, HD transport stream recordings of up to 1080, and HDTV x264 rips. I'm running Windows 7 x64. I'm not a gamer, but this G210 scored a 5.7 on 3D Business and Gaming Graphics, while scoring a somewhat disappointing 4.3 for the Aero Desktop Performance rating. Still - though the 8500GT this card replaced achieved a 5.4 Aero rating, I've not noticed the difference at all. Of course, absolutely quiet, and runs cool in my mid-tower case....typically 39 C. under load, thanks to the 40nm process technology and lower power requirements. I just need a fanless power supply now to be virtually silent.
Cons: Could have a bit more oomph for Aero. Buggy drivers (195.63 WHQL)? Initially, I had an issue with choppy playback of hi def material. I found the issue to be a setting in the "Video" / "Adjust Video Color Settings" section of the Nvidia control panel: IF YOU ARE HAVING PLAYBACK ISSUES, try unticking "Dynamic Contrast Enhancement" and "Color Enhancement" boxes. Either of these settings used alone or in combination will bring playback to a stuttering crawl. Disabling them will effectively fix the issue. Either the drivers are buggy, or the G210 simply doesn't have the horsepower to pull off the enhancements. If that's the case, perhaps Nvidia should gray out the options for it's bargain basement card.
Overall Review: Might have held out for a G220 if a fanless version were available, but this is a great card for the money.
Pros: Does what it needs to do, have a plethora of inputs and properly decode video while offloading nearly everything from the CPU to the GPU. Fanless card design. CPU usage on 1080p files barely gets up to 8%. Perfection! Got a 5.5 gaming graphics score from Windows 7 if you're curious.
Cons: I can't really think of one.
Overall Review: If you say this sucks for gaming, you have no business buying this card. This baby isn't meant for gaming, it should be considered a pure HTPC card that can play 3 year old games decently.
Pros: Great price, passive cooling, HDMI out, Handles 1080p without a problem. Low-profile-ready might a be a another pro for some.
Cons: Maybe the large cooler, but none, so far.
Overall Review: I replaced a passive cooled Asus GeForce 8400 that did not have HDMI out. I had to use a DVI->HDMI converter with the old card. This is much better. I have not experimented with trying to get audio out of the HDMI port. I use spdif optical audio anyway, so not a priority. BTW... it easily fit in my Silverstone htpc case, which is notorious for being a tight fit. This card is not too deep - it's mostly just wide; it does use up two expansion slots.
Pros: Awesome with XBMC, fully supports the advanced functions of VDAPU (linux) for perfect 1080p playback. The GPU does all the decoding. Also if you check out some reviews, this card idle takes about 6W of power and under full load is close to 15W. Very very low!
Cons: It's horrible with gaming
Overall Review: Yes, horrible with gaming, but really, it didn't matter to me. If I wanted an inexpensive gaming card, the ATI 4650 is the way to go. But it wasn't what I needed.
