Pros: Great card for the Price, Good Frame Rates. Plays rift on Ultra Settings with no Lag at all. Great bundled software on the CD, Keeps cool and quite. Fan never goes over 40% on auto stays around 50-55c under full load.
Cons: No Hdmi to mini hdmi cable.
Overall Review: The Previous Review by the other person is not even for this Card. Don't let it fool you. For the Price this card is great. It can play any of the new games. Lost Planet 2 Benchmark puts it at 50fps with everything on high 1920x1080 with 4xAA. The 2 fans keep it quiter than other cards with 1 fan. I also own a evga version of this card witch is louder when the fan
Pros: Excellent card. was running crysis 1 on all very high at 20-30fps with 2aa @ 1600x900. Very cool and quiet only hit 63c on crysis. Overall I would say its roughly 40%-50% faster than my aging 9800gt. Dominates heaven benchmark with 2xaa and everything maxed tessellation extreme. lowest frames were around 18 which isn't bad for dx11 tessellation on extreme. I'm sure it will max any game unless you very very high resolutions. I'm very happy with this card and am confident it will last me as long as my 9800gt with current games. Will try overclocking when I need it. Right now it handles every game i play flawlessly. Albeit crysis 1 not warhead, but I just use it for benchmarking. Athlon IIx4 620 @3.5ghz, 2g DDR2800, MSI GTX 460 V2
Cons: None as of yet.
Pros: Nice design. Faster than Twin Frozr/Hawk edition, just as quiet. Further stably overclock-able, though I have not experimented much (833/1666/2100, just fooling around). Flawless performance at 2560x720 (720p*2 across two 23" monitors). Thermal design DOES keep this card cool. It will IDLE at or slightly below system ambient (30~35*C, my case, underclocked to 800/1600/2000). Kombustor pushes temps up to, but not beyond 60*C. Gaming NEVER sees these temps 50~55*C at worst. Fans at 100% will cool this card from 60*C to system ambient in less than 60 seconds, AVG~40sec.
Cons: Heat pipes give me the impression of being reverse in orientation (but are parallel to the ground so I question their true effectiveness regardless). Middle portion of heat-sink seems to me to be a unconsidered point of turbulence since both fans are in push configuration. This point is right over the GPU. A push-pull design would have been wiser in my opinion and something I aim to pursue for my own amusement.
Overall Review: The plastic outer shell is sort of boring. For all intents and purposes, this card is an overclocked Hawk edition without the chromed cooler cover. I would have greatly preferred a little more *bling* considering the high quality of this card!
Pros: This card is a fantastic deal. For the price, it can't be beat. It packs serious power, yet runs quiet and cool. For me, quiet and cool matter more than performance, since performance is meaningless if it isn't stable, or if it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. While running folding @ home, it maxes out at 71C and the fan doesn't go over 62%. At that level, the fan is slightly audible, but nothing unbearable like other cards I've seen. MSI and nVidia have done a fantastic job.
Cons: No cons.
Overall Review: Buy this card.
Pros: Fast for the price, comes with adaptors for both regular hdmi and avi. Runs really quiet and cool with the dual fan model... still havnt seen much of a drop from 60fps on skyrim, koa: reckoning, or Borderlands. Really great card.
Cons: They dont make em any more, gotta get em while they last.
Overall Review: Rebuilt recently and was looking for some good deals that will really make my build fly on a budget. Replaces an ancient radeon 4650 with this card and man has it made one hell of a difference. Good price and it does all i need it to and more, overclockable as well for when it starts showing its age.
Pros: Nice packaging Great performance Low noise Nice software package
Cons: None so far Wont run both DVI ports and HDMI at the same time, you can only do 2, but this isn't really a con there are not many cards that will do all 3
Overall Review: I bought this card for a PC build for my church to run live video and edit graphics and audio on, so far it has been flawless. I cannot comment on gaming but I suspect it will do very well. This card works in conjunction with a Blackmagic intensity pro capture card and pushes video out to several TV's using HDMI, excellent picture quality!
Pros: > Much better than my old 9600 GSO 512 > Quiet for having dual fans (noticeably louder around 65+%) > Not long for a dual-slot card > Nice design > Adjustable voltage (core only; no PLL or VRAM) I'm not gonna bother posting fps or benchmark results here as I would be very biased for this card since it's much better than my old one. Just take the time to do the research for yourself first.
Cons: I honestly cannot find fault with this card, other than it's 192-bit memory bus. But then again, it IS GDDR5, so it's basically the same as 256-bit GDDR3 (which is what my old card had). Another thing to take note of are the different BIOS performance profiles which change dynamically based on GPU usage (by profiles I mean a set of frequencies for core/shader/memory). This has been a problem for some people b/c the profile will change to a lower performing one even though they're playing a game or running a benchmark (I think this is a standard functionality for all Nvidia Fermi GPU's). However this has not happened to me, so I can't provide anything more than that.
Overall Review: Temps (custom fan speed ramp in Afterburner; note my case also): Idle: ~48C Load: ~68C Take note it requires two 6-pin power connectors. I don't recommend substituting molex adapters as you could possibly run into performance or other issues. I could probably overclock it further/stably than 890/1780/2060 if I were to push the voltage further than 1.00V, but I'm not comfortable going that far with it (yet...). System Specs: Case - NZXT Tempest Motherboard - EVGA nForce 750i SLi FTW CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 (2.53GHz) @ 3.33GHz RAM - 4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 @ 933MHz (5-6-6-22) GPU - This graphics card Sound - X-Fi Titanium PCI-E HDD1 - Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA-II HDD2 - Seagate Barracuda 120GB IDE (lol) PSU - Antec EA-750 Display - ASUS VH202T-P (20", 1600x900)
Pros: Great overclocker. Quiet. Stays cool, max temperature is around 60C for me.
Cons: None, the 192-bit bus doesn't affect performance at all.
Overall Review: At the right price and with rebate this is the best bang for your buck out there right now.
