Can this computer be loaded with windows 7 professional instead of windows 8 ?

Yes. but not from newegg. You could do it yourself,just be sure to copy all your drivers and utilitys. ASUS has some nice ones.There is very little bloatwear on this laptop.

Question 4

How do I activate the keyboard to light up as i play audio? It's set on that setting but nothing is happening.

I could not get it to work either but all the other settings work correctly.  I think the problem is windows media player is not visible to the application.  Try another player possibly. Alternately maybe we both need a software upgrade or to call MSI.
