Yes it will. I have the exact same motherboard and I am using this GPU with good performance. My benchmarks for 3DMark are 6713. The board and the card are both PCIE 3.0x16, so you will milk every last drop of performance out of this card. A great combination!

Q: Can anyone confirm if this card has dual support for legacy and UEFI bios? MSI claims that it does but I am wary of purchasing a product just to have to RMA it a few days later. EVGA's GTX 950 model, by comparison, is strictly UEFI. Currently using an MSI 760GM-P34 motherboard (part of a pre-built system) that does not support UEFI, only legacy BIOS. Assuming this card has dual support, I'd like to use it with my current motherboard until I am able to upgrade my case and motherboard.

Q: I am trying to overclock this card using Afterburner. I cannot adjust core voltage. The promotional information says this has "GPU Boost 2.0 Technology" & "Unlock voltage". Anyone else have same problem and find a solution?

Disclaimer: Overclocking will void your warranty and may damage your card if done improperly, proceed with caution! I wouldn't increase the voltage unless your overclock isn't stable. Even then, only increase by the smallest possible amount and see if it holds stable. In the afterburner settings, about half way down in the compatibility settings section, you'll need to make sure that all check boxes are checked, EXCEPT "Force Consistent Voltage". check/uncheck what you need, click ok. and reboot the computer. if that still doesn't work, you can edit the afterburner.cfg file in C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner you'll need to close the Afterburner application first. then edit the config file. look for the entry: UnofficialOverclockingEULA = 0 you should change it to this: UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it save the cfg file and reboot your computer.

Okay from what I can find online it will fit. Only if your case is big enough. I found this; "NOTE: MT supports full height card, DT supports l ow profile card or full height card with optional ri ser. SFF
supports low profile card."
So depending on which version you have the card might be too high for the case.
If you just google your computer "Optiplex 780" on google on dells website you can read all about the computer

You would also need to upgrade your power supply if you want this card. 180W-400W is not enough.

I ve not installed it yet, it is a double card and takes up two slot spaces. I have a 2.0 pci bus so i wont get the all the  speed and all the functions. Ive looked at the spects and it looks like a great grapics card It does have a vented rear plate and fan. there is a picture. just roll your mouse over the small  picture  and it will enlarge

I bought this video card at Newegg, to use with my new UHD TV. Problem is, I don't see the 4096 or 3840 resolution option when trying to set it up, the highest the dropdown menu goes is to 1920.
My PC runs Windows 10 Home, downloaded the latest drivers from NVIDIA website, my TV is a Samsung UN65JU6500 and I tried connecting it with both HDMI 2.0 and Display Port.
Can I get some advise from MSI or Newegg on this please?

I am not an expert but this is what I found. Make sure your HDMI cable is a High Speed 2.0 HDMI cable. That may make a difference. If your tv will accept a pc monitor cable you can use that as well. When I make display changes I find that windows settings are basic and limited so I use the Nvidia Control panel.  Right click the desktop and select Nvidia control panel and expand the display selection. My HD TV shows it at 1080P (native) which is right for my cheap tv.  There is a customize button below which allows you to set the resolution you want.  Click the customize button. In the popup window click enable resolutions not exposed... and create custom resolution. A warning will appear and after ok you will be able to set a custom resolution.  A higher res. may not work with an older hdmi cable. Search for connecting pc to uhd tv and you will find several articles. I looked at the Cnet one. Hope this helps.

I have been able to OC just a little bit... currently my most stable on MSI AFTERBURNER is:
Core Voltage: Unable to change
Power Limit: 117
Temp Limit: 80      <-- Not linked and priority is set to temp
Core Clock: +150
Memory Clock: +300
Fan Speed: Auto

And i haven't found a fix for the voltage unlock.... :(
