Pros: I picked this board over Asus A8N32-SLI because of the onboard sound, extra 1394 port, slim IDE cables, board layout, and price. And I am very glad it fits my need so well. Installation and configuring the BIOS is pretty straightforward. Windows XP booted up either crashed or got blue screen. I reinstalled the OS and solved the problem. I have the onboard sound disabled and Windows reported an unknown PCI modem found. This has been discussed in MSI forum. Not a big deal for me. Just disabled the PCI modem in Device Manager so it will never pop up again. If you have the onboard sound enabled, then you won't see this problem. Driver CD is flaky, some options in the list would disappear after I installed them. So I just download the latest driver from NVidia site and it works just fine. These little problems may vary from person to person, but they can be resolved easily as long as the board is running solid afterward, which is all I care.
Cons: As others pointed out in their posts, this board has a 8-pin connector for CPU power. Many power supplies (including the newer ones) have a 4-pin connector instead, and it will fit the half of the 8-pin socket on the motherboard. I don't have any problem leaving the other half open. According to MSI technician, leaving the other 4 pins open is fine. This is not documented anywhere in the manual or on MSI web site.
Overall Review: I am running the board very stable with AMD 64X2 3800+ overclocked to 2700@1.55V, G*Skill PC4000 1GBX2, EVGA GeForce 7900 GT overclocked from 500/1500 to 525/1700 (not SLI yet), Antec TruePower II 550W Power, and Zalman 9500 Cooling fan.
Pros: Went together very easy. Being my first build I was a little nervous, but had no problems at all. Have not had one single stability or compatability issue with this board or setup. Bought everything from newegg. Great transaction.
Cons: I was a little concerned about the 8 pin CPU plug on the motherboard but the 4 pin plug on my powersupply worked just fine.

Pros: This happens to be an extremely nice board. For the most part, very easy to install. It comes with a lot of goodies like onboard 7.1 dobly digital surrond Audigy sound chip. The heat piping coming off the copper cooling system matches very well with my Big Typhoon copper piping. This mobo also has 6 USB ports, 2 fire wire ports and a whole slew of other connections that you'll probably never need but it's nice to have them available. Over all, MSI is the best out there for Mobo's.
Cons: Beware, even though this really isn't a true con, this Mobo requires an 8 pin connector for the CPU so make sure your powersupply has the correct connections. You might find it a bit difficult to find a SLI compliant Power Suppy but for this mobo but it is needed. The only thing I didn't care for are the cheap plastic pin spreaders that it came with. They can bend and break easily so be careful.
Overall Review: My System setup-- CPU - AMD 64|400+ Atholon Clawhammer Memory -4 Gig's of ATA DDR 400 (it will clock it down to DDR333 automaticllay with all 4 slots used upbut you really can't notice) Video Card - ATI Radeon X1900XTX Case - ASYS|CK-1021-5C Sliver Power Supply - 500W Thermal Take / SLI ready 2 Maxtor 7200 RPM hard drives, one is 120 GB and the other is 160 GB 1 - LiteOn DVD RW combo drive and... 1 - Memorix CD/RW drive 52x32x52 1 Thermal Take Big Typhoon Fan 3 Aspire blue lit cooling fans 2 19" Polyview LCD with DVI monitors Micosoft Laser Wireless Keyboard and mouse Creative Sound Labs 7.1 Dobly Digital Inspire speaker system All this makes up one crazy fast system that just make playing video game and doing normal stuff just that much better.
Pros: I've been building computers for 15 years and I have never seen such a good motherboard before. I am in love with the features, performance, and expandability the SLI offers. It booted and installed Windows XP x64 without needing a special SATA driver disk, it has more dongles and external ports than I've ever seen come with a motherboard before, and on top of that it screams like a banshee! Well done MSI!
Cons: Be very careful when purchasing and selecting RAM for the board. Some combos will only work at DDR333.
Pros: Very easy to install out of the box - comes with a lot of extra cables and the like. The NB fan is super quiet, much better than I had anticipated. Rock-solid stable with no problems at all!
Cons: NB is running about 60 degrees, but that ain't too bad, I guess.
Overall Review: Good product - nice to know I can drop in another video card down the road for an instant upgrade!
Pros: Good layout, plenty of overclocking options in BIOS, easy install, onboard Creative sound, full x16 SLi, plenty of ports, just under 200$
Cons: 'Fanless' chipset? It is a little big, i had to put off adding the aftermarket heatsink for the CPU purely because of the large chipset heatsink.
Overall Review: New System: Cooler Master Full Tower (Stacker), AMD 4800+ OC'ed, 2 GB OCZ Gold, This mobo, (1)XFX 7900 GTX--This thing just slices thru FEAR (Low 43, Avg 78, High 138--Graphics maxed out)
Pros: - Nice quality MB and materials - Good manual and quick-start poster - Excellent included cables and accessories - Great color-coding and labeling of pinouts and sockets made this board easy to assemble. - No issues with heat-sink, capacitors around the processor are well spaced and low profile. MB layout had no issues with my configuration. - Overall an very easy build and so far a very stable motherboard.
Cons: Nothing really: Had an issue with RAM running DDR333 vs DDR400 - found out I had RAM in the wrong sockets to enable DDR400 and dual channel.(I had 1&3 vs the correct 1&2 or 3&4) Performance really jumped when I fixed that!
Overall Review: Dynamic auto-overclock utility (Core) seems to work well. The included software for Core Cell also enables additional CPU multipliers and FSB frequency options not shown in BIOS. Floppies with drivers for both SATA RAID controllers were included (I didn't need them, but others definitely will). All products bought at NewEgg - AMD64 4000+, dual MSI 7900GT in SLI, Creative X-Fi sound card, Thermaltake Typhoon heatsink, 2GB Corsair PC3200 3-3-3-8, optical drives, 700W Foxtron PS (Nvidia Certified)and an Awesome Case (Gigabyte Aurora...very nice!) No issues with heatsink fit and CPU runs at 30-34C under full load, even when it overclocks. Good quality board - I get NO static from my X-Fi card (some MD will give static from PCI activity, a known issue with the sound card).

Pros: The install of mobo was easy. Nice overclocking options. Heatpipe is designed well, video cards were able to fit without problem. Many options and connections. I did not have any problems with driver or OS installation.
Cons: More info than Cons. Firewire pins numbered incorrectly on motherboard, it is fine if using form factor connector but if using split pins make sure to use the pinout in the manual. Also it was not clear about JPWR2 but if using SLI power supply with 8pin 12V connector connect it. Also manual mentions JAUD1 pins 5&6 and 9&10 must be jumpered for Line Out. I have both the Line out and the Front Panel in use and they both work without jumpers. The sound card is nice but I found that if connecting to a receiver that 5.1 is not possible for games and CD audio via SPDIF ports. Only passthru DVD encoded audio. You have to use analog 5.1 connections for games (this seems to be true with most sound cards though). I purchased a Creative DTS-610 to remedy this. RAID function works well.
