Pros: Directions are fairly good and easy to understand. I havent had a problem at all with it once i got it installed.
Cons: None really, its doin everything i want it to and i havent had any problems yet.
Overall Review: 1. When installing the RAM the directions say to use only the green slots before the purple but doing this prevented my memory from running at max speed. Just use the first 2 slots and it will work fine. 2. The onboard audio was a problem. I tried to connect the front audio plugs of my case. When you take off the 2 jumpers from the audio plug on the mobo it disables the normal audio out from working, it states this in the directions, but the front audio would not work on mine either. Once i put the jumpers back on the sound worked fine plugged into the normal out on the back.
Pros: I upgraded to this board from an 800 MhZ P2..so i don't have much to compare it too, A friend said "get MSI" I am really glad I did. No problems, concerns, very fast and reliable. If you aren't a serious gamer, say in need of SLI then this board is great.
Cons: None that I can think of, Thanks MSI! (and Newegg!)
Overall Review: MSI KN8 Neo4-F; 2.4 Gig AMD athlon Venice processor, 120 gig Seagate HDD; Samsung Writemaster DVD Drive. 512 Corsair Value Select memory..excellent!
Pros: Excellent bang for the buck. Sure, it has SATA I instead of SATA II and no SLI, but what do you expect for the price? It's been stable as a rock for me for seven months now.
Cons: None.
Pros: Very nice. Have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ running at 2.5GHz like butter. This motherboard is fast. Have two gigs of RAM that are overclocked a little bit as well. The bootup logo is cool, shows the "Core Cell" logo. Very neat. Booted up on first start and running perfect. This motherboard compares to even the highest end 939 boards (non-SLI ones).
Cons: AM2 is not worth it.
Overall Review: AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ oc'd 2.5GHz GSKILL 2GB of RAM PC3200 Sound Blaster X-Fi Seagate 320GB SATA HDD Thermaltake Venus 12 MSI K8N Neo4-F 939 mobo
Pros: lasted for 6 months, worked flawlessly until late december, excelent overclocking features as long as you stay within your limits, worked straight out of the box for my first build
Cons: in december i recieved frequent crashes i had figured it was the power supply but the fan for the northbridge chipset fried, it took me awhile to figure out what was the problem, luckily i have a case with a side window and i noticed that the chipset fan was no longer running, i replaced it with a zalman northbridge cooler which worked great for a few days until all my pci slots fried along with the motherboard accepting cd/dvd drives, which isnt all that great
Overall Review: ill RMA the mobo to MSI considering it has a 3 year warranty and see what the results are
Pros: Excellent documentation which helped for my first build ever. There is the usual poor grammar here and there (can't they hire a native English speaker to edit??) though. Works perfectly and packed wtih features. Chock full of overclocking options but I haven't tried them yet. It detects everything I connect to it.
Cons: Very minor: The output template for the outputs (PS2, USB's, Ehternet) in the back is some flimsy plastic material that looks really ugly.
Overall Review: I have this motherboard paired with an AMD 3700+ and it screams performance. I haven't used the software it comes with (Corecell, Digicell). For the price, it is unbelievable. I don't need an SLI or the SB Live chip (which I think is the only difference between this and the platinum version.) so I get to pay about 65% of the cost.
Comments: Good price. It went together fast and runs stable. Good layout. Excellent documentation and labelling. All in all, I am very glad I got this board.

Pros: Socket 939/PCI-E board at a bargain price.
Cons: None of note.
Overall Review: I bought this board to support a budget gaming rig with a mid-range PCI-E card and have not been disappointed. Everything worked fine straight out of the box, documentation was adequate, and I had no problems installing hardware or configuring the bios. Lots of room on the board, so things don't feel cramped. I'm not big into overclocking so I can't speak to that, but if you're looking for a stock board for a modern AMD system, it's hard to go wrong here.
