How easy is the installation process for the MSI MPG X870E EDGE TI WIFI R motherboard?

VERY EASY, BUT BE AWARE OF THE MOUNTING SCREW THAT IS NEAR THE M.2 SLOT IN THE MIDDLE, IT TOOK ME EVERY BIT OF 15MINUTES TO MOUNT TO MY CASE. SO FAR I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS, JUST UPDATED THE NEW BIOS. I HAVE THE AMD 9900X CPU, WILL UPGRADE WHEN I CAN AFFORD TO DO SO.

All depends on what's important to you. So, if you look closely, you will see some differences. eg. 2 more SATA ports, a second armored PCI slot that supports 5.0 etc. However, for me, the price difference was not worth it and I built with the edge. My main thing was NVME drives that did not share with PCIE or USB and the edge has that. It is more silver that white but since I run with solid sides on my case that was immaterial to me. Built it 5 days ago and it came right up. YMMV.

IMO its more silver than white. It has highly reflective surfaces (mirror- like) with white graphics that combines with the silver. So it would be an excellent white build.
