just one pci-e 6pin connector, comes with and adapter to 4pin if you have and older power supply, low power requirement, 150w.
a 450 or 500w power supply should do it .

Hi Guys
I was wondering if anybody could help me out.
I build my first computer today with these video card
and MSI Z87-G43 GAMING LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. 
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz LGA 1150 Quad-Core Desktop Processor.
I connect my monitor to the video card  and a monitor does not turn on.
If i connect to the motherboard everything turns on fine. 
The fans are working on the video card.
May be the video card is defective???

The monitor should have a slight glow to it even if it is a blank screen. Try turning off all the lights and see if it does.

If it does, then try to connect to another computer that does work, even if it is a work or friend computer.

If all that works, then does the computer make a beep when you power it on? If not, the computer is not passing all the test to boot.

Most likely, it is the video card if it is the only thing that was changed.

If it is brand new, then try taking the RAM out of the motherboard and the video card and see if it beeps then. If not, then the PSU or motherboard is bad.

If you do get a beep, then put in the RAM and see if there are any beeps. If not, then the RAM could be bad.

If all of seems to be working, then the video card is defective.

Would this GPU be able to run BF4 on ultra settings with 16GB ram and intel core i7 with no lag?

No, It will run on High at a solid 60 FPS. Ultra would be below that and under 60 FPS is not recommended for any first person shooter. Also lag or latency is determined by your internet speed so I assume you are looking to run the game at a decent frame rate.
I play BF4 on my rig with this card an i7 and 8gb of ram and get around 60 fps on high.

Hello fellow "neweggers!"
I was using the power calculator that New Egg offers and with this graphics card upgrade my Wattage has jumped tremendously! (Upgrading from a Radeon 5450 so you could imagine.) i have a 500W Psu and with all my specs it says 414W do you think this will be enough headroom for my PSU? i saw one review saying he got it to run on a 460W!

Amd athlon IIx4- 2x2gs of ram- asus m4a77t/usb3.0 and 7200-Hdd - CD-ROM and obviously -GTX 660 :P
tiny speakers ethernet cable mouse keyboard not much plugged in back so idk i hope i can scrape by :DDD Let me know what you think!!!!

You should be fine. Newegg's calculator is fairly accurate on wattage based on the manufacturers specifications. As long as you are at least 50 watts below I wouldn't be concerned. It actually is possible to even run a system with wattage over what the power supply is capable of (I had an SLI system for about a month at 680W on a 550W PS that appeared to work fine) but you would run into 2 problems, 1st the gpu would throttle power during peak gaming reducing graphic quality and 2nd it would cause additional wear-and-tear to your power supply eventually causing it to fail early. These are the 2 things to watch out for if you are worried about the system wattage being too high. I have a single GTX660 in one of my rigs and it can run any new game with ultra settings no problem so if graphics seem laggy in single player it may possibly be a wattage problem. If you ever plan to have 2 of this gpu card in your same rig to split the graphic load, I would recommend you get at least a 650W 80+ bronze certified power supply.

I have the ASUS F2A85-V PRO FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard and I was wondering if this graphics card would be backwards compatible with my motherboards pci express 2.0?

it should be backwards compatible but it will run on pci express 2.0 speeds not the 3.0 version but if you are upgrading your motherboard you can always swipe the card out and put it in there.

my experience with the card has been fantastic, I play high end games and haven't had a problem with it.

How much power is needed for this card?

Power demands are minimal. I've got it running on an AMD-based motherboard, and a 350-watt power supply, on Windows 8. HDMI support and driver updates have been seamless, to date. Operation is stable, although I haven't stress-tested it as of yet. No artifacts/tearing/pixelation seen, and it's driving a 42 inch TV as the main display, via HDMI.

I don't do games, am buying this to run a 50" tv or larger! Will this card do that?

If the tv has an hdmi connector yes this card should run your TV up to the max capibility  of the tv.  1080p.   Perhaps to 2550x1600 if the tv will support it.    However I would recommend the gigabyte or Evga. Cards over the MSI card.   Mine was DOA    It could have been a one of thing but. I will only by MSI if the deal  is clearly superior to the other cards.  Also be sure to make sure that the card is in working order ie tested on your system before you take any action to satisfy any rebate leave the card and box  as they arrive then test then if it works. Mine did not  send in rebate.   Good luck.  But EVGA or gigabyte is my recomendation

some are saying it is backwards compatible with 2.0 And someone said it not. Can someone tell me for sure?

Hi jo b, I am currently running it in a ASUS M5A99X PRO R2.0 MoBo
which is PCIe 2.0 x16 so I'm guessing that that definitively answers your question. I LOVE this Graphics Card, on Heaven benchmark I had very high scores, and in Racing games and WarThunder I have the graphics pegged and there are no issues.

What are the dimensions of the video card?

Once it's mounted, the part of the video card that extends into my case from the bracket is right about 8 5/8". Its thickness is approximately 1 3/8". I think the width of these cards is standardized, but, in case you were wondering about that, my card measures about 4 1/2" from the motherboard to the outside of the heat pipe on the other side once it has been snapped into the PCIE slot. All of those measurements should have an accuracy of about plus or minus 1/16".
