Great product, but....

Pros: -More than capable of playing the vast majority of modern games at 1080. (At the time of review anyway)
-Capable of playing some older games at 4k, old meaning '07 and earlier. (some but not most, depends on optimization)

Cons: -Technically not vr-ready. (technically as in it's lower than minimum specs, but I can play anyway. Just not at the recommended 90 fps)
-A power hog when compared to similarly priced and newer cards. (But with a 700+ watt PSU, it really doesn't matter too much, unless you want to keep your bills down.)

Overall Review: -This is an ATX card, I have a Micro-ATX tower. A full half inch of this card is in my lower drive bay.

Had it for 2 years and still hasn't died on my yet

Pros: it was good for it's time and still is

Cons: wish they added better cooling design for the memory and such.
Overclocking may prove a problem

Overall Review: it's a good card. won't be upgrading unless I absolutely need to

Very good for 1080p and below

Pros: I bought this to use with an i3-6100, 16gb RAM and 1280x1024 monitor. I expected it to be "good enough" for newest games, but was surprised by how good it actually is. Big improvements with new games which are optimized for Vulkan API. I tried a 1920x1200 monitor, which dropped fps by ~30 ( from 70-100 fps to 40-70 average, using highest settings), but still no stutters or lagginess. I tried it primarily with Doom 2016 and COD MW3. If kids report any issues with Minecraft, Runescape, or Roblox, I'll report back.

Cons: None yet.

Exceptional performance for real low cheap!

Pros: I did not buy this card from Newegg (I got impatient) but it's been nothing but rock solid since I picked it up specifically to run Fallout 4. I now blaze along at between 40-60 FPS with the highest base graphics quality, 4x FSAA, and 16x Anisotropic Filtering at 1920x1080 in nearly every game I've thrown at it (Except Ark: Survival Evolved, that game is greedy). It's an incredible value as the stats are nearly the same as the Twin Frozr model minus a 200 MHz difference in memory speed. This card is likely louder and obviously doesn't have the overclocking potential of its more expensive cousin, but for my purposes and the purposes of most other gamers this card hits a price/performance ratio sweet spot that's hard to beat.

Cons: It can be a little loud under heavy load but not so much that it's been a distraction.

Overall Review: I don't usually overclock my rigs so I can't speak to its potential there but I imagine the memory speed could be increased enough to match that of the Twin Frozr model.

Amazing

Pros: it works great
works in crossfire
stays cool at 60-65c (under full load with 2 cards in crossfire)
drivers are easy to install
quiet
cheap

Cons: noticed flickering in the loading screen of call of duty BO3 (only in crossfire) but it only lasted a few seconds. note that i only saw it in BO3, no where else.
with a single card, i noticed that it made a noise that sounded kind of like white noise but really quiet (when under full load)

Overall Review: I tested the card on "unigine heaven benchmark" and it made around 120 fps on average with ultra settings on a dual crossfire

awful card, literally hell, does not even deserve 1 egg rating

Pros: none what-so-ever

Cons: got this as a refurbished replacement for my 7790 1gb which died right before warranty was up.
This gpu worked great for a week or so until it started constantly crashing and freezing up sporadically during gaming.
Updated all drivers and even ended up replacing every single part of my pc because I couldnt believe this new card was this awful and all my parts were about 4-5 years old. Nope, it was the gpu that sucked.
Ended up sending it in for RMA and got the same model again only to have the same exact problem happen again, even worse this time because now my pc randomly crashes while browsing the internet and within a minute of running any video games or gpu benchmarks.
Im going to call msi this weekend and tell them i want a refund for the price of this card for having to deal with all this trouble because i DO NOT want another one of these broken cards! Hell id rather have my old 7790 1gb back at the cost of lower graphics because at least it was rock solid and NEVER crashed my entire computer AT ALL.
This card gave me post traumatic stress disorder because you never know when its going to crash your computer during gaming. you cant enjoy any game you play because youre just waiting for it to crash over and over again.
dont even think of playing any game that doesnt let you quick save your progress like fallout 4 survival mode or diablo 3 hardcore difficulty because you will lose all your progress from a random guaranteed crash.

Overall Review: i wouldnt recommend this gpu to my worst enemy

Works as excellently as you can hope

Pros: Some review sites have said that the R9 380 is the best 1080p gaming card available right now in the ~$200 range. From what I've seen, I agree. This card wins in benchmarks vs EVGA Super-Superclocked GTX 960, which is in the same price range.
Every game I have now runs at high settings or better with great frame rates. Battlefront? It's complaining about my system RAM before this card. I'm testing it with Dark Souls III now, but I see no chance of slowdown caused by this card.
DirectX 12 is the newest version, and offers many improvements and optimizations. Only a few games support it, but that list will quickly grow.

Cons: Runs a little hot, over 86 Celsius when I benchmarked it with furmark. But that program is designed to burn you up anyway. It's more like 78 C playing major games in my setup, which isn't great airflow right now. I'm getting liquid cooling to compensate.
I'm not a fan of the power plugs being on top for 2 reasons.
1. I can see space being a problem for a lot of people, but luckily I have the room and then some.
2. You can clearly see the plugs through my side window, it's an eyesore.

Overall Review: I bought a factory refurbished one off another site with a factory warranty and all. After tax and shipping I'm only out $195, and it is worth every penny. This is a HUUUUGE jump from my old GTX 560ti. I feel like I'll get 5 years out of this, just like I did the 560ti, especially after I convert it to liquid cooling and mellow those temps out.
MSI Afterburner is very useful. I love MSI products because I always get my money's worth out of them.

My current setup:
MSI Gaming 970 MB
AMD Phenom II x4 965 (old but still powerful)
8 GB RAM (next on upgrade list)
MSI R9 380 4 GB
