Pros: The read speeds are 1700MB, installed easily on Windows 8.1 with X99 motherboard.
Cons: The write speeds are extremely slow. I'm reviewing of user guide to see what configuration is needed by running wdcfg commands. I would have expected performance right from start since Windows 8.1 and bios recognized hardware without requiring any driver (no disc included by the way, have to get from support site). I'm not sure why any manufacture would have download available but not provide media on day one for OS install. I also have ticket with support if I don't see write speeds improvement using wdcfg utility (command prompt interface)
