I understand, Raymond. I'm a homebrew IT nerd—not a paid professional. That disclaimer aside, I'm not sure I understand your query. So in this reply, I don't intend to be a smart aleck: This device delivers WiFi signal to other devices in the environment it's set up in, eg: in a home and serving gaming consoles, laptops, PCs, phones, etc. In doing so, it "routes" the wireless bandwidth to each of the devices individually, and coordinates multiple requests for inbound/outbound wireless bandwidth (traffic)—kind'a like an air traffic controller.
